Stafford County Sheriff’s Office: “On December 9 at approximately 6:02 p.m. Deputy Reed responded to Ulta Beauty, located at 1150 Stafford Market Place, for a report of not one, not two, but three separate larcenies.”

“Incident one occurred on December 8 at 3:48 p.m. Video showed a black SUV park in a handicap spot. The female suspect exited the vehicle and proceeded to the fragrance area. There, she stole over $1,200 worth of items before leaving at 3:53 p.m.”

Prince William police: “Unlawful Filming on School Grounds – On December 4, the School Resource Officer (SRO) assigned to Hylton High School located at 14051 Spriggs Road in Woodbridge concluded an investigation into an inappropriate picture taken on school grounds. The investigation revealed on November 20 at approximately 1:30 p.m., a male student, identified as the accused, took an inappropriate photo of another juvenile male student while in a school restroom.”

“The accused later posted the photo to a social media app where another student saw the photo and notified a teacher. Following the investigation, the accused, identified as a 15-year-old male juvenile, was arrested. Arrested on December 4: [Juvenile] A 15-year-old male juvenile of Woodbridge. Charged with unlawful filming. Court Date: Pending | Status: Held at the Juvenile Detention Center.”

Prince William police: “Aggravated Assault | Firing Projectiles at an Occupied Vehicle – On December 8 at 2:41 p.m., officers responded to the area of Harbor Drive and Colby Drive in Woodbridge to investigate reports of injury and property damage from BB projectiles. The investigation revealed two occupied Prince William County Public School buses were struck by BB projectiles in the above area. Windows were damaged on both buses and one occupant sustained a cut from the broken glass. No additional injuries were reported. Additionally, a female juvenile and a male juvenile, both 17 years of age, were walking separately in the area of Old Bridge Road and Oakwood Drive when they were also struck by BB projectiles. Both juveniles were treated for non-life threatening injuries. Officers searched the area for the suspect(s), who were not located. No additional injuries or property damage were reported. The investigation continues.”

Prince William Police: Attempted Aggravated Murder – On December 10, detectives obtained an additional charge against the accused in connection to the threat of violence investigation that began at the Park Valley Church located at 4500 Waverly Farm Drive in Haymarket on September 24.

“The additional charge against the accused, identified as Rui JIANG, stems from the ongoing investigation and analysis of digital evidence obtained during the search warrant executed at his residence in Falls Church.

Stafford County Sheriff’s Office: “A 38-year-old Spotsylvania woman caused an auto accident late last night due to reckless driving and alcohol.”

“On December 7th at approximately 5:47 p.m. Deputy C.M. Sterne responded to the intersection of Banks Ford Parkway and Celebrate Virginia Parkway for an auto accident. It was discovered the first driver had the right of way and proceeded through the intersection. The second driver also assumed she had the right of way and proceeded through the intersection. Any physics professor will tell you two objects cannot occupy the same space at the same time.”

A Patriot High School student was struck by a car driven by another student in front of Marsteller Middle School on Monday, Dec. 4, 2023.

A 17-year-old driver struck a 16-year-old boy who was walking outside the middle school about a mile from Patriot High, 10504 Kettle Run Road in Nokesville.

Prince William Police Department: Shooting Investigations *ADDITIONAL ARRESTS – On December 7, detectives obtained petitions for additional suspects involved in the shootings that were reported to have occurred at residences located on Kenmore Drive and Kentland Drive in [Dale City] on November 27.”

“Further investigation revealed on November 25, the previous suspect, a 15-year-old male juvenile, was determined to be involved in taking a firearm from a vehicle parked on Northgate Drive and had stolen a vehicle from Potomac Mills on November 26. The stolen vehicle was recovered on November 28, and the stolen firearm was subsequently recovered on November 29, both in the Woodbridge area.”

“While investigating the incident, detectives received a tip regarding the location of a vehicle matching the description previously released. Detectives responded to the area provided to police where they located the vehicle and identified the owner who was determined to be the suspect. Following the investigation, the suspect, identified as Ricardio Antonio CHAVARRIA MANJIVAR, was arrested.”

Prince William police: “Attempt to Disarm a Law Enforcement Officer | Attempted Malicious Wounding – On December 5 at 9:51 a.m., officers responded to Potomac Mills located at 2700 Potomac Mills Close in Woodbridge to investigate an assault.”

“The investigation revealed an unknown man, later identified as the accused, was inside the shopping center where he confronted other patrons. During the encounter, the accused struck a 25-year-old man, before grabbing another victim, a 55-year-old woman, and holding a boxcutter to her neck. Eventually, the accused released the female victim and ran into the parking lot where he then got on top of a tractor trailer.
