Stafford County Sheriff’s Office: “A 38-year-old Spotsylvania woman caused an auto accident late last night due to reckless driving and alcohol.”

“On December 7th at approximately 5:47 p.m. Deputy C.M. Sterne responded to the intersection of Banks Ford Parkway and Celebrate Virginia Parkway for an auto accident. It was discovered the first driver had the right of way and proceeded through the intersection. The second driver also assumed she had the right of way and proceeded through the intersection. Any physics professor will tell you two objects cannot occupy the same space at the same time.”

A Patriot High School student was struck by a car driven by another student in front of Marsteller Middle School on Monday, Dec. 4, 2023.

A 17-year-old driver struck a 16-year-old boy who was walking outside the middle school about a mile from Patriot High, 10504 Kettle Run Road in Nokesville.

Prince William Police Department: Shooting Investigations *ADDITIONAL ARRESTS – On December 7, detectives obtained petitions for additional suspects involved in the shootings that were reported to have occurred at residences located on Kenmore Drive and Kentland Drive in [Dale City] on November 27.”

“Further investigation revealed on November 25, the previous suspect, a 15-year-old male juvenile, was determined to be involved in taking a firearm from a vehicle parked on Northgate Drive and had stolen a vehicle from Potomac Mills on November 26. The stolen vehicle was recovered on November 28, and the stolen firearm was subsequently recovered on November 29, both in the Woodbridge area.”

“While investigating the incident, detectives received a tip regarding the location of a vehicle matching the description previously released. Detectives responded to the area provided to police where they located the vehicle and identified the owner who was determined to be the suspect. Following the investigation, the suspect, identified as Ricardio Antonio CHAVARRIA MANJIVAR, was arrested.”

Prince William police: “Attempt to Disarm a Law Enforcement Officer | Attempted Malicious Wounding – On December 5 at 9:51 a.m., officers responded to Potomac Mills located at 2700 Potomac Mills Close in Woodbridge to investigate an assault.”

“The investigation revealed an unknown man, later identified as the accused, was inside the shopping center where he confronted other patrons. During the encounter, the accused struck a 25-year-old man, before grabbing another victim, a 55-year-old woman, and holding a boxcutter to her neck. Eventually, the accused released the female victim and ran into the parking lot where he then got on top of a tractor trailer.

Prince William police: “Malicious Wounding on School Grounds – “On December 6 at 7:41 a.m., the School Resource Officer (SRO) assigned to Patriot High School located at 10504 Kettle Run Road in Nokesville was notified of a fight.”

Virginia State Police: “The Virginia State Police is investigating a fatal crash that occurred at approximately 9:06 a.m. this morning, Wednesday, Dec. 6, 2023, on Interstate 95 in Prince William County.”

“The preliminary investigation indicates that a black Toyota Tundra, driven by Lloyd R. Felder, 69, of Triangle, Va., pulled off onto the right, northbound shoulder of I-95 at the 158 mile marker [Prince William Parkway]. Felder then exited his vehicle and stepped into the northbound travel lane where he was struck by an oncoming tractor-trailer.”

Prince William police: “Abduction | Attempted Sexual Assault *UPDATE – The Prince William County Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance with identifying the man sought in connection to an abduction that was reported to have occurred in the area of Forestdale Ave. and Fullerton Rd. in Woodbridge (22193) on December 3 at around 1:30AM.”

“The victim voluntarily got into the suspect’s vehicle where he then refused to let her leave despite the victim’s numerous attempts. While traveling in the above area, the suspect exposed himself and made inappropriate gestures before grabbing the victim. Later that morning, the suspect drove the victim to her residence where she encountered police. Attached is a composite sketch of the suspect and photos of the suspect’s white sedan. The investigation continues. Stafford Sheriff’s office: “Despite multiple releases on shoplifters from Kohl’s being caught, one Stafford man’s attempt earned him a trip to Rappahannock Regional Jail and to the Sheriff’s Office’s naughty list.”

“On December 4th at approximately 5:20 p.m. First Sergeant D.F. Purcell and Deputy E.C. Taylor of the Special Problems Unit responded to Kohl’s, located at 1220 Stafford Market Place, for a shoplifting in progress. Staff advised they were watching a male stuff merchandise into a duffle bag. As deputies arrived on scene, the suspect was leaving the store. First Sergeant Purcell observed the suspect, and the suspect observed him. The suspect quickly began fleeing on foot.”


Prince William

Virginia State Police: “At 11:34 a.m., Virginia State Police attempted to initiate a traffic stop on a vehicle traveling east on I-66 near Exit 43. The vehicle refused to stop for the trooper and, instead, sped away. A pursuit was initiated. The suspect vehicle lost control and spun out at Route 29 and Linton Hall Rd. The suspect vehicle came to a stop and the 25-year-old male driver was taken into custody. The driver was not injured.”
