On May 25, the suspect sought in connection with the shooting that occurred at the athletic fields of Benton Middle School located at 7411 Hoadly Road in Woodbridge on May 1, was arrested.

Isaiah Malik Gordon, 23, of 16600 Harwood Oaks Court in Woodbridge, turned himself into police without incident. Gordon is charged with two counts of aggravated malicious wounding, one count of possession of a firearm on school grounds, two counts of use of a firearm during the commission of a felony, two counts of use of a firearm while on school grounds.

On May 24 at 6:41 p.m, officers responded to the 15300 block of Gatehouse Terrace, just off Rippon Boulevard in Woodbridge, to investigate a shooting.

Police found a 9-year-old girl suffering from a gunshot wound and utilized trauma kits to administer first aid until rescue personnel arrived on the scene.

The investigation revealed that the victims and other acquaintances, including the accused, had gathered inside the apartment. At one point during the encounter, shots were fired, and both victims were struck, police said.

The two victims were located deceased by officers later that day while investigating a call for service at another apartment.

On Thursday, May 19 at 8:19. a.m., the School Resource Officer (SRO) at Potomac High School, 3401 Panther Pride Drive in Woodbridge was notified by school personnel that there was a student with a gun inside the school.

The investigation revealed that another student was inside a bathroom when a different student, later identified as the accused, brandished a firearm under a bathroom stall.

At 7:40 a.m., police went to Walker Grant Middle School, 1 Learning Lane, for a report of a 15-year-old student who had been previously suspended and a student who trespassed onto school property.

On Tuesday, May 16 at 4:57 p.m., Prince William County police officers went to investigate an indecent exposure that was reported to have occurred in the area of Antietam and Seminole roads, one block from Woodbridge Senior High School Lake Ridge.

The investigation revealed at 7 a.m. on May 16, a witness was walking in the above area when they observed an unknown man inside an older model silver van.

Police are just telling us about the incident at 3:06 a.m. Saturday, May 14. Deputies went to a medical emergency on Fox Run Lane in the Woodlawn subdivision, about three miles outside Downtown Fredericksburg.

They found a man in a home’s driveway, bleeding profusely, with life-threatening injuries, police said. Deputy K.P. Hall rendered first aid until medics from Stafford Fire and Rescue arrived and transported the man to the hospital.

On Sunday, May 15, at 4:06 p.m., officers went to the Woodbridge Station Apartments in the 13600 block of Mary’s Way in Woodbridge after someone reported seeing a bullet hole in their ceiling.

A resident of an apartment reported to police that a bullet hole was discovered in his ceiling, appearing to have come from the above apartment. A bullet fragment was also found on the resident’s floor.

On Friday, May 13, at 3:08 p.m., Stafford sheriff’s deputies went to Giant Food at 550 Celebrate Virginia Parkway. The initial information from witnesses described an armed robber jumping the pharmacy counter and stealing oxycodone and OxyContin.

The suspect then ran to a white Enterprise Rental van and fled. Witnesses provided deputies with a description of the suspect and the van, including a partial license tag.
