Police and rescue crews were called to Independence Traditional School near Manassas at 9:44 a.m. Wednesday, January 4, 2023, after the unidentified student showed signs of illness.

"The new location will bring the core menu with the signature Crimson Rub spice combination and some select additions unique to the east coast, served up via online or by walk-in orders," said John Filipiak, managing partner.

It's one of three separate incidents, and two arrests in which the suspect has been involved in the past month.

The suspect had an argument with a 17-year-old girl with whom he had a relationship outside a home in the 17900 block of Milroy Drive in Dumfries just before 11 a.m. today, Wednesday, January 4, 2023, and then shot her. Afterward, he went inside the home, shot and killed what police only describe as a small child.

Construction barriers at the bridge are anticipated to be removed by 3 a.m. Thursday, ahead of the morning travel rush.

Jefferson will face fellow Democrat Ann Wheeler, who's held the position since 2020. So far, there's no Republican challenger for the seat.

Yeung, first elected to the Board of Supervisors in 2021,  is the first black person to hold the job in Stafford County. Her peers on the Board of Supervisors voted her into the position after five rounds of voting.

Police arrested one person in connection to the shootings.

Authorities found the grinch wearing a red jersey, underwear, and one shoe.

The investigation revealed a masked man entered the store, walked behind the service counter, and demanded the store clerk open the registers. When the clerk initially refused, the suspect brandished a knife at the clerk.
