Two deputies were assaulted yesterday afternoon while attempting to de-escalate a domestic disturbance.
On February 24th at 2:37 p.m., deputies responded to the intersection of Harrell Road and Forbes Street for a report of a domestic disturbance. Witnesses informed the Emergency Communications Center a male passenger had exited a vehicle and was screaming at the driver.
On Thursday, February 23, Prince William County detectives charged a 27-year-old man in connection with the robbery that was reported to have occurred at the Truist Bank located at 16541 River Ridge Boulevard in Woodbridge on February 9.
Forensic evidence collected at the robbery scene ultimately led to the suspect’s identity. Following the investigation, detectives obtained an arrest warrant for the suspect, identified as David Emanuel Andrews, in connection to the incident.
Stafford County General District Court Judge Jane M. Reynolds released a woman on bond just hours after she was arrested.
Sheriff’s deputies spent two weeks looking for the woman, whom they said twice eluded them in two high-speed pursuits where the she exceeded speeds of 100 mph, putting others on the road at risk.
On February 22 at 6:13 p.m., officers responded to investigate a potential threat of violence made towards Lake Ridge Middle School, located at 12350 Mohican Road in Lake Ridge.
The investigation revealed that an unknown individual, later identified as a student of another school, posted threats directed toward the school over Snapchat. A student who received the message immediately informed a family member, who contacted the police.
Prince William police are searching for a man suspected of violating a protective order in Woodbridge.
The man is suspected of being involved in a fight with a woman at home in Woodbridge on Saturday, February 18, where several guns, including a firearm that had been reported stolen, were found.
Stafford sheriff’s deputies found several stolen guns during a traffic stop in North Stafford.
On Saturday, February 18, at 12:49 a.m., deputies responded to Norman Road for a disturbance with a weapon. A resident reported there was a person in his yard with a flashlight.

Authorities in Stafford County arrested sisters after a pursuit and crash on Route 17.
On Friday, February 17, at 3:22 p.m. Deputy M.E. Gordon stopped a gold Nissan Maxima at 626 Warrenton Road for failing to yield to oncoming traffic. The driver provided a fictitious name and claimed she was nervous since she had never been pulled over, police said.
Several drivers have been victims of smash-and-grab burglaries in Stafford County.
A burglar has the windows of multiple cars parked at various county recreational locations, including Duff McDuff Green Park, Crows Nest nature preserve, and the Rowser Building, which hosts sporting events.
With the suspect’s death, cops says the case is closed.
