A Lake Ridge woman faces charges that she assaulted a law enforcement officer.
Police said she was stopped in the area of Prince William Parkway and Old Bridge Road in Woodbridge early Monday morning. During the traffic stop, police said the woman began yelling and then struck and later kicked police officers.

Assault and Battery on a Law Enforcement Officer [LEO] – On June 28 at 1:45AM, officers conducted a vehicle stop on Prince William Pkwy near Old Bridge Rd. in Woodbridge (22192) for a driver who was unable to maintain their lane. During the encounter, the driver, later identified as that accused, was yelling and acting disorderly on the side of the road before she struck an officer with a pen. When officers attempted to take the accused into custody she actively resisted and refused to follow officer’s commands. A brief struggle ensued where the accused struck and kicked officers before she was taken into custody without further incident. No injuries were reported by the officers. Following the investigation, the accused, identified as Kayla Ri’Chard DUNKERSON, was arrested.

Later that day, during an unrelated incident, police said they were called to a home near Dumfries for a report of an assault. A man, 59, got into an argument with a family member.
The argument escalated, and the man was later found lying unconscious and was taken to a local hospital for treatment

Malicious Wounding – On June 28 at 3:00PM, officers responded to investigate an assault that was reported to have occurred at the Oasis Montclair Apartments located in the 4000 block of Middleton Lp. in Dumfries (22025) on June 24. The victim, a 59-year-old man, reported to police that he and a family member, identified as the accused, were involved in a verbal altercation that escalated. During the encounter, the accused assaulted the victim before leaving the area. A short time later, an acquaintance located the victim unconscious in the above area and contacted emergency services. The victim was transported to an area hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Following the investigation, the accused, identified as Jacob Sax CONTEH Jr., was arrested.

Later that evening, in another separate incident, police found someone used a marker to draw swastikas on the license plates of five vehicles parked in the Ridgefield Village neighborhood, near Dale City.
Vandalism – On June 28 at 6:45PM, officers responded to the 5200 block of Aetna Springs Rd. in Woodbridge (22193) to investigate a destruction of property. The investigation revealed that between June 26 and June 28, five different vehicles near the above area were vandalized. The license plates of the vehicles were drawn on with marker and included swastika symbols and inappropriate language. The words did not contain any threats and did not appear to target anyone specific in the neighborhood. The drawings were removed without causing permanent damage. Detectives are investigating all possible motives as the investigation continues.
Police in Prince William County is investigating a road rage incident that led to a firearm being brandished near a local high school.
The 24-year-old female victim was driving near Colgan High School on Monday afternoon, at the intersection of Route 234 and Hoadly Road near Dale City. A sedan began following her and driving aggressively around her. At one point, while the victim was stopped, the driver of the blue sedan pulled up and brandished a gun, police said.

Brandishing of a Firearm | Road Rage Related – On June 28 at 3:19PM, officers responded to the area of Dumfries Rd. and Van Buren Rd. in Dumfries (22025) to investigate a brandishing. The victim, a 24-year-old woman, reported to police that while driving southbound on Dumfries Rd. near Hoadly Rd. a blue Nissan sedan began following her and driving aggressively around her. At one point, the victim confronted the occupants of the Nissan before both parties continued driving. While at the above intersection, the Nissan pulled up next to the victim’s vehicle and the passenger of the Nissan brandished a firearm towards the victim. The victim contacted the police and drove away while the Nissan turned onto I-95 South and fled the area. At no time were shots fired during the incident. The only suspect description is a black woman with her hair in a ponytail.
Authorities are also looking into a second road-rage incident. This one is unrelated to the first.
It happened on Sunday in the area of Linton Hall Road and Bristow Center Plaza, a busy shopping center that’s home to a Harris Teeter grocery store. The victim said a silver Honda pulled up and started driving aggressively, police said.
When the two vehicles stopped, one driver pulled out a gun and placed it on the dashboard. No shots were fired, and no one was injured.

Brandishing of a Firearm | Road Rage Related – On June 26 at 5:10PM, officers responded to the intersection of Linton Hall Rd. and Bristow Center Plaza in Bristow (20136) to investigate a brandishing. The victim, a 47-year-old man, reported to police that while driving on Linton Hall Rd. he observed a silver colored Honda rapidly approach from behind. The victim began to change lanes when he observed the Honda already in the lane and quickly re-entered his lane. The two vehicles continued driving and soon after were stopped next to each other at the above intersection. When the victim attempted to confront the driver of the Honda, the suspect retrieved a firearm from under the driver’s seat and placed it on the dashboard of his vehicle. Both vehicles drove away when the traffic signal changed, and the victim eventually contacted the police. At no time were shots fired or was there any verbal contact between the victim and the suspect.
Strangulation | Malicious Wounding | Threats by Electronic Means *REWARD
On June 23 at 4:44PM, officers responded to investigate threatening messages that were reported to have occurred at the Bayvue Apartments located in the 1300 block of Bayside Ave. in Woodbridge (22191) on May 28. While investigating, officers determined that an assault occurred prior to the messages being sent and detectives with the Special Victims Bureau assumed the investigation.
The victim, a 44-year-old woman, reported to police that on May 26, while at the above address, a verbal altercation escalated when an acquaintance, identified as the accused, struck her with a glass bottle. During the altercation, the accused grabbed the victim’s throat before striking and kicking her several times.
The parties eventually separated. On May 28, the accused sent the victim messages threatening to kill her and her family. The victim eventually responded to the police station to report the incidents. The victim reported she sustained significant injuries during the altercation. While investigating, detectives were made aware of a separate attempted burglary incident that occurred on May 10.
The investigation into the attempted burglary revealed that the accused damaged the victim’s front door while trying to gain entry into the residence. No entry was made, and no property was reported missing. Following the investigations, arrest warrants were obtained for the accused, identified as Terrance Lemartre WRIGHT. In partnership with the U.S. Marshals Service, a $2,000 reward has been offered for any information leading to the apprehension of the individual sought in connection to this incident.

BREAKING AND ENTERING
Bellows Avenue, 6/27, 9:08 p.m. Deputies responded to Olde Forge subdivision for what was reported as a vandalism. Deputy D.T. Aubrecht determined Danzel Maynor, 23, of Stafford, had tried to force his way into the townhome during a disturbance with the homeowner at the front door. Maynor then punched the plate glass window in the door, breaking one of the panes of glass. Maynor was charged with breaking and entering and assault and held at the Rappahannock Regional Jail on a $1,000 secure bond.
CHILD NEGLECT
Sky Terrace subdivision, 6/26, 7:08 p.m. Deputies responded to the subdivision for a found three- year-old child. The investigation revealed that neighbors had found the child and attempted to locate a guardian for approximately 45 minutes without success. Deputies soon located Shalika Taylor, 27, in the area and determined she was the custodian for the child. Taylor had slurred speech and bloodshot eyes. She was subsequently arrested for felony child endangerment and public intoxication. Taylor was held at the Rappahannock Regional Jail on a $1,500 bond. Child Protective Services was notified and the child was turned over to his father.
DUI
Jefferson Davis Highway/Hope Road, 6/26, 1:15 a.m. Deputy F.A. Martinez stopped a vehicle in this area for speeding. Additionally, the vehicle did not have headlights or tail lights illuminated. Deputy G.P. McCaulley responded to assist and identified the driver as Brennan McPherson, 23, of Stafford. McPherson had bloodshot eyes and a strong odor of alcoholic beverage on his breath. Field sobriety tests were administered and he was arrested for DUI. McPherson was held at the Rappahannock Regional Jail on a $1,000 unsecure bond.
United Nations Church International, 454 Cambridge Street, 6/27, 12:39 a.m. Deputy C.S. Haines observed a vehicle in the parking lot of the church and identified the driver as Dustin Hill, 39, of Fort Bragg, North Carolina. Hill had a strong odor of alcoholic beverage on his breath and was unsteady on his feet. There was an open container of alcohol in the vehicle as well. Field sobriety tests were administered and Hill was arrested for DUI. He was charged with DUI, drinking while driving and trespass on church property. Hill was held at the Rappahannock Regional Jail on a $1,500 unsecure bond.
HIT AND RUN
Target, 1090 Stafford Market Place, 6/25, 9:34 p.m. Vehicle owner discovered his unoccupied vehicle had been struck in the parking lot causing significant damage to the front bumper. A note with a phone number and claiming to be sorry was left on the windshield. Attempts to contact the phone number revealed it was not a good number.
LARCENY
Bass Drive, 6/27, 10:27 a.m. Resident reported that sometime over the weekend his golf clubs and golf bag were stolen from his vehicle which was parked in the apartment complex lot. The vehicle is believed to have been left unlocked.
VANDALISM
Government Island, 191 Coal Landing Road, 6/27, 3:54 p.m. Deputies R.M. Connelly and A.T. Leckemby responded to the area for a report of vandalism. Witnesses reported a suspect was painting hieroglyphics on the rocks in the quarry. Deputies located Danny Osorio-Luna, 29, of Stafford, on the trail and determined he had painted on the rocks. He was released on a summons for destruction of property.
On June 21, investigators with the Crash Investigation Unit obtained charges against the driver of the 2002 Honda Civic involved in the fatal collision that occurred in the area of the Prince William Pkwy and University Blvd in Manassas (20110) on April 4.
The crash killed a 13-year-old male juvenile and injured three other occupants in the vehicle including a 35-year-old woman, a 16-year-old male juvenile, and a 9-year-old boy. The 34-year-old male driver of the other vehicle involved, a 2003 Ford F-250, was also treated for minor injuries.
The investigation revealed that the accused struck a separate vehicle, a 2017 Volkswagen Jetta, in the area of Sudley Rd and Portsmouth Rd in Manassas before fleeing the scene. The other driver involved in that collision, identified as a 37-year-old woman, followed the accused to the area of the Prince William Pkwy were the fatal crash occurred.
No injuries and minor damage were reported in the initial crash. Following the investigation, the accused, identified as Edward Yojan AGUIRRE BENITEZ, was charged.

On June 23 at 8:57PM, officers responded to Lustine Toyota located at 14227 Jefferson Davis Hwy. in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate a stabbing. Upon arrival, officers located the victim, a 34-year-old man, suffering from a stab wound.
The victim was flown to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The investigation revealed that while outside of the business, the victim and an acquaintance, later identified as the accused, were involved in a verbal altercation that escalated. During the encounter, the accused retrieved a knife and stabbed the victim who then ran inside the business.
The accused initially followed the victim inside the business before returning outside where he was detained by officers. While investigating, officers determined that the accused was intoxicated. Following the investigation, the accused, identified as Hasuan FERNANDEZ, was arrested.

Commercial Burglary
On June 22 at 11:05AM, officers responded to Queenly Nails located at 17189 Wayside Dr. in Dumfries (22026) to investigate a burglary. Earlier that morning, officers responded to Southbridge Plaza and determined the back door to the above business was unsecured. At that time officers were unable to determine if entry was made into the business. Later that morning, the store manager responded to the location and found that entry was made into the business through the unsecured rear door. An undisclosed amount of money and a phone were reported missing. At this time there is no suspect description.
Attempted Commercial Burglary
On June 23 at 9:08AM, officers responded to the Fresh Unisex Barber and Salon located at 16685 River Ridge Blvd. in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate an attempted burglary. The business owner reported to police that entry into the business was attempted sometime between 5:45PM on June 21 and 8:55AM on June 23 through the back door which was found damaged. No entry was made into the business and no property was reported missing.

Galilean Drive, 6/24, 3:20 p.m. The caller reported hearing several gunshots around 12 a.m. on June 24. Shell casings were found on the ground in the area. No damage or injuries were reported. The investigation is ongoing.
INTOXICATED PERSON
75 Staffordboro Boulevard, Staffordboro Commuter Lot, 6/24, 11:53 p.m. Deputy J.J. Yenchak observed a male walking in the area. The suspect smelled of alcoholic beverages and had slurred speech. He provided the deputy identification information that was discovered to be false. He was eventually identified as Gary Laudermilk, 44, of Stafford. Laudermilk was found to be wanted out of Spotsylvania County. He was arrested for public intoxication and providing false identification to law enforcement. He was also served the outstanding warrant. Laudermilk was held without bond at the Rappahannock Regional Jail.
LARCENY
11 Village Parkway, Walmart, 6/24, 4:20 p.m. A loss prevention employee confronted a female suspect for shoplifting. She then left the business, leaving behind a cart containing unpaid merchandise, but took a bag with her that had additional items that were not paid for.
11 Village Parkway, Walmart, 6/24, 6:52 p.m. Deputy T.A. Vasquez responded for a report of a shoplifter. Upon arrival, the deputy located the suspect, Brooke-Lynn Thompson, 21, of Fredericksburg, with the loss prevention employee. It was learned Thompson went to self- checkout and only scanned and paid for a portion of the items in her shopping cart. She was stopped by loss prevention as she exited the store. Thompson was charged with shoplifting and released on a summons.
Indecent Exposure
On June 19 at 10:46PM, officers responded to the Taco Bell located at 12721 Harbor Dr in Woodbridge (22192) to investigate an indecent exposure. The investigation revealed that a customer, later identified as the accused, was inside the store when he was asked to leave by staff. As the accused left the business, he stood in front of the glass door and exposed himself. Responding officers located the accused nearby where he was determined to be intoxicated. Following the investigation, the accused, identified as John Michael ROONEY, was arrested.

Commercial Burglary
On June 22 at 2:09AM, officers responded to the Pizza Boli’s located at 17197 Wayside Dr in Dumfries (22026) to investigate a burglary. The call was initially received from a homeowner on nearby Larkin Dr who reported seeing two unknown, possibly teenage males running through the neighborhood carrying a cash register. When officers arrived, they located the cash register broken on a sidewalk. During a canvass of Southbridge Plaza, officers found the rear door to the Pizza Boli’s unsecured. As officers searched the business, they observed the cash register missing. The business owner was contacted and confirmed the cash register was missing from the business. Upon reviewing surveillance footage, two males were seen entering the business while a third remained at the door. The suspects were not located. An undisclosed amount of money was reported missing.

Commercial Burglary
On June 21 at 9:53AM, officers responded to American Auto Salvage located at 14210 Jefferson Davis Hwy in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate a burglary. The business owner reported to police that someone forced entry into the garage area and stole three catalytic converters from inside. Video surveillance was reviewed which showed an unknown individual entering the location earlier that morning at approximately 3:30AM. The suspect, who was believed to be a male, was only described as wearing gray pants, a hooded sweatshirt, and mask.
Residential Burglary
On June 22 at 2:40AM, officers responded to a residence located in the 13400 block of Delaney Rd in Woodbridge (22193) to investigate a burglary. The homeowner reported to police that he was asleep when he woke to the sound of his dog alerting him to an intruder in the home. The homeowner then observed an unknown individual standing in the hallway. The suspect immediately fled the home through a dog door that exited to the rear of the residence. The suspect was then observed running on foot across the backyard of the property. Upon checking the residence, the homeowner noted an undisclosed amount of money was missing. There were no signs of forced entry into the residence. The suspect is believed to have entered the home through the same dog door that was later used to flee the residence. A police K-9 responded to search for the suspect who was not located. The homeowner was only able to describe the suspect as a male, approximately 5’9”, with a thin build.

Shelton Shop Road & Garrisonville Road, 6/21, 2:15 a.m. Deputy J.J. Yenchak stopped a vehicle after observing it failing to maintain its lane of travel. The vehicle ran a red light prior to stopping. The driver, Kaleigh McKee, 20, of Stafford, smelled of alcoholic beverages and had slurred speech. Field sobriety tests were administered and McKee was arrested. She was charged with driving under the influence, driving on a suspended license, and traffic violations. McKee was held on a $3,000 unsecured bond at the Rappahannock Regional Jail.
INTOXICATED PERSON
2862 Jefferson Davis Highway, McDonald’s, 6/21, 12:32 a.m. Deputy A.J. Deasy responded for a report of a male causing a disturbance at the business. Upon arrival, the deputy observed the suspect, Abner Velasquez Sanchez, 26, of Stafford, getting into an unoccupied vehicle. The owner of the vehicle advised that he did not know Sanchez and he should not be in his vehicle. Sanchez had glassy eyes and was unsteady on his feet. He was charged with public intoxication and held until sober at the Rappahannock Regional Jail.
LARCENY
Briarwood Drive, 6/21, 7:00 p.m. A minibike was reported stolen from the victim’s backyard. It is believed the suspect gained entry through an unsecured side gate. The theft occurred sometime between June 16 and June 21.
299 Banks Ford Parkway, Lowe’s, 6/21, 10:01 p.m. A store employee reported a female suspect went inside the bathroom and removed tools from their boxes. She left the boxes in the bathroom and concealed the tools in a backpack. The suspect then left the store without paying for the items.
VANDALISM
Masters Drive, 6/21, 9:20 a.m. The basement sliding glass door was damaged on the victim’s residence. It appeared someone unsuccessfully attempted to gain access to the residence by prying open the door. The incident is believed to have occurred sometime between June 16 and June 21.
Snowbird Lane, 6/21, 4:31 p.m. The victim reported his residence was vandalized sometime between June 11 and June 21. Spray paint was painted on the walls and cabinets were rummaged through. No items were reported stolen.
Independence Day is just around the corner and people are preparing to have family fun. Prince William County Police remind residents to celebrate responsibly, whether the celebrations take place on land or on the water.
To help raise awareness among the County’s boaters and personal watercraft users, including paddleboards. Prince William County Police are participating in Operation Dry Water.
Operation Dry Water (ODW) is a year-round, boating-under-the-influence awareness and enforcement campaign. Its mission is to reduce the number of alcohol- and drug-related accidents and fatalities through increased recreational boater awareness and by fostering a stronger and more visible deterrent to alcohol use on the water.
Operation Dry Water’s heightened awareness and enforcement three-day weekend take place annually around Independence Day. This year the campaign begins Friday and runs through July 4. Prince William County Police will be out on all navigable waters in the County, including the Occoquan and Potomac Rivers as well as at parks and businesses that front them.
The purpose of the heightened enforcement component of the Operation Dry Water campaign is to deter persons from boating under the influence of drugs or alcohol. When boaters and other watercraft users choose to boat impaired, they are endangering not only themselves but also others on the water. Alcohol use continues to be the leading known contributing factor in recreational boating deaths in the United States.
On June 18 at 3:15PM, officers responded to a residence located in the 3400 block of Wainscott Pl. in Woodbridge (22192) to investigate a domestic. The victim, a 52-year-old woman, reported to police that she and a family member, identified as the accused, were involved in a verbal altercation that escalated. During the encounter, the accused pushed the victim as he exited the home and then shut the car door on victim’s hand several times. The accused eventually fled in the vehicle and the victim went to an area hospital for treatment of serious injuries. Following the investigation, officers obtained arrest warrants for the accused, identified as Paul Hubert RAUCH, who was arrested on June 20, without incident.

Reckless Handling of a Firearm
On June 20 at 9:45PM, officers responded to a residence located in the 4900 block of Kraft Ct. in Woodbridge (22193) to investigate a shots fired call. The investigation revealed that the accused and a family member were involved in a verbal altercation that escalated. During the encounter, the accused retrieved a firearm before exiting the home and firing more than one round into the air. While investigating, officers determined the accused was intoxicated and took him into custody. No injuries or property damage were reported. Following the investigation, the accused, identified as Rene Alberto MEJIA, was arrested.

Indecent Exposure
On June 20 at 8:42PM, officers responded to the 9200 block of Falling Water Dr. in Bristow (20136) to investigate an indecent exposure. The victim, a 37-year-old woman, reported to police that while running on the trails through the woods near the above address, she observed an unknown man on the side of the trail. As the victim ran past the man, she observed him exposing himself and making inappropriate gestures. The victim ran to a nearby residence and contacted the police. Officers searched the area with negative results. At no time did the suspect attempt to make contact with the victim.

Republic Way, 6/17, 7:37 a.m. Deputy A.J. Layug responded for a report of an assault. The investigation revealed the victim exited the residence and observed the suspect, Lenwood Smith III, 28, of Fredericksburg, waiting outside. Smith grabbed the victim’s phone from her as she attempted to summon law enforcement. The victim attempted to get the phone back and Smith shoved her to the ground. He then fled the scene with the victim’s phone. Smith was later located by deputies and arrested for assault, larceny, and preventing a 911 call. He was held on a $500 secured bond at the Rappahannock Regional Jail.
DUI
Washington Drive & Jefferson Davis Highway, 6/19, 6:33 p.m. Deputy J.J. Yenchak stopped a vehicle for failing to maintain its lane of travel. The driver, Christian Hernandez, 24, of Alexandria, smelled of alcoholic beverages and had slurred speech. Field sobriety tests were administered and Hernandez was arrested. A controlled substance was found in his possession. Open containers of alcoholic beverages were found inside the vehicle. Hernandez was charged with driving under the influence, possession of a controlled substance, drinking while driving, and driving without a license. He was held without bond at the Rappahannock Regional Jail.
Leeland Road & Colemans Mill Drive, 6/19, 9:27 p.m. Deputy A.J. Deasy responded to the area to locate a vehicle involved in a hit and run. The deputy located the vehicle and initiated a traffic stop. The vehicle had heavy damage which was later learned to have been from the driver striking a mailbox. The driver, David Hardesty, 32, of King George, had slurred speech and was unsteady on his feet. Field sobriety tests were administered and Hardesty was arrested. He was charged with driving under the influence, hit and run, and reckless driving. Hardesty was held on a $2,500 unsecured bond at the Rappahannock Regional Jail.

105 Garrisonville Road, Wawa, 6/19, 10:51 p.m. Deputy J.J. Yenchak responded for a disturbance. The caller reported the suspect, Belinda Kirtz, 58, of Philadelphia, was drinking outside of the business and threatening customers. Upon arrival, the deputy located Kirtz and noticed she had slurred speech and glassy eyes. Kirtz was arrested for public intoxication and held until sober at the Rappahannock Regional Jail.
300 block of Garrisonville Road, 6/20, 3:56 a.m. Deputy J.J. Yenchak observed the suspect, Joseph Brown, 60, of Stafford, stumbling in the parking lot. Brown smelled of alcoholic beverages and had slurred speech. As the deputy attempted to place Brown in handcuffs, he resisted. After a brief struggle Brown was taken into custody. He was charged with public intoxication and obstruction of justice. He was held on a $1,500 unsecured bond at the Rappahannock Regional Jail.
BURGALRY
Garrison Woods Drive, 6/20, 1:28 a.m. The victim reported jewelry and firearms were stolen from her residence while she was away. There were no signs of forced entry. The incident is believed to have occurred sometime between 12 a.m. on June 19 and 12 a.m. on June 20.
LARCENY
Edison Lane, 6/18, 8:14 p.m. Deputies responded for a report of a suspicious person. The victim reported she observed an unknown male on her property. The victim later discovered cash was stolen from her garage. The suspect was not located. He is described as a white male seen wearing a black t-shirt and black gym shorts.
595 Warrenton Road, Sleep Inn Motel, 6/20, 7:48 a.m. The victim reported the catalytic converter was stolen off of his vehicle while it was parked at the business. The theft is believed to have occurred sometime between 11 p.m. on June 19 and 7:40 a.m. on June 20.
On June 17 at 6:15PM, officers responded to the Riverwood Apartments located in the 2700 block of Yosocomico Ln. in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate an initial report of shots fired…a group of individuals… gunfire was exchanged with another group of individuals who were near the playground on Yosocomico Ln. Both groups dispersed following the gunshots… a round entered an occupied residence, grazing a 9-year-old girl.
On June 16, detectives…began an investigation into a sexual assault reported to have occurred in the Woodbridge (22191) area of Prince William County…the victim’s mother walked in on a family member…sexually assaulting her 7-year-old daughter.
On June 15, detectives…began an investigation into a sexual battery…at the Walgreens located at 14095 Jefferson Davis Hwy in Woodbridge (22191). The victim, a 55-year-old woman, reported to police that she was working inside the business when she was approached from behind by an unknown man. During the encounter, the man inappropriately touched the victim as she was turned away. No injuries were reported
On June 13 at 9:47PM, officers responded to a residence located in the 3000 block of Antrim Cl. in Dumfries (22026) to investigate an attempted abduction. The victim, an 11-year-old girl, reported to police that she was approached by an unknown man as she was taking out the trash near the rear of the home. During the encounter, the suspect grabbed the victim and told her not to move while preventing her from leaving. The investigation continues. The only suspect description is a man who is approximately 5’10”.
On June 10 at 10:48PM, officers responded to a residence located in…Woodbridge to investigate an attempted abduction. The victim, an 11-year- old girl, reported to police that she heard a knocking at her second story window and opened the window to look out. As she was leaning out of the window looking around, an unknown male wrapped his arms around her and both parties fell to the deck below. No injuries were reported. The only suspect description was a male with a medium build and approximately 5’6”.
On June 12 at 5:17AM, officers responded to the intersection of Georgetown Rd. and Jefferson Davis Hwy. in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate a shooting. The victim, a 19-year-old man, reported to police that he was stopped at the above intersection when an unknown man approached his vehicle. During the encounter…the suspect fired a round striking the victim. The victim drove to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
On June 11 at 9:43AM, officers responded to the 4100 block of Hoffman Dr. in [Dale City] to investigate a shooting. The victim, a 44-year-old woman, reported to police that earlier that morning she heard the sound of glass breaking in her vehicle. Upon inspecting the vehicle, she observed the rear window was shattered and a hole was in the windshield.
On June 10 at 3:00PM, officers responded to investigate a domestic that was reported to have occurred at a residence located in the 18000 block of Joplin Rd. in Triangle (22172) on the morning of June 9. The victim, a 35- year-old woman, reported to police that she and an acquaintance were involved in a verbal altercation that escalated while inside their parked vehicle. During the encounter, the accused struck the victim multiple times before kneeling on her head.
On June 3 at 9:30PM, officers responded t 16700 block of Mill Station Way in Dumfries (22025) to investigate a domestic. The victim, a 24-year-old woman, reported to police that she and an acquaintance, identified as the accused, were involved in a verbal altercation that escalated. When the victim fled the home, the accused confronted her in the street where he grabbed and struck her several times. On several occasions, the victim attempted to separate from the accused, who continuously pushed her down and held onto her while striking her repeatedly. The accused then dragged the victim across the road before he eventually fled the area
On June 1 at 10:09PM, detectives… began an investigation into an assault that was reported to have occurred in the area of Gordon Blvd. and Old Bridge Rd. in Woodbridge on May 30…the victim, a 35-year-old woman, and a 44-year-old male acquaintance, identified as the accused, were involved in a verbal altercation that escalated. During the encounter, the accused struck the victim several times in the face.
On May 29 at 11:37PM, officers responded to the Summerland Heights Apartments located in the 1800 block of Gableridge Turn in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate a fight with weapons… a 40-year- old man, went to his neighbors apartment upon hearing the fire alarm. When the victim intervened, one of the residents… struck and bit the victim…
On May 29 at 3:09PM, officers responded to a residence located in the 1900 block of Winslow Ct. in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate a burglary…While canvassing, officers observed the accused nearby and when they attempted to detain him, the accused fled on foot… after a short foot pursuit, the officers made contact…During the altercation, the accused pushed the officer and attempted to take his Electronic Restraint Device before the accused struck and bit the officer.
On May 25 at 11:30AM, officers responded to the Summertree Condos located in the 7500 block of Margate Ct. in Manassas (20109) to investigate a domestic… a 30-year-old man, and an acquaintance, identified as the accused, were involved in a verbal altercation that escalated. During the encounter, the accused struck the victim before retrieving a knife and attempting to stab the victim. A struggle ensued over the knife which resulted in the victim being cut…The victim reported serious injuries.
On May 21 at 9:25PM, officers responded to the Lake Montclair Center located at 5061 Waterway Dr. in Dumfries (22025) to investigate a shooting…the occupants, identified as a 19-year-old man and 20-year-old man, both of whom were suffering from non-life threatening gunshot wounds.
On May 11…the suspecttook a 36-year-old man’s money while holding him at gunpoint and then fled in a white SUV. During the investigation, detectives obtained a photos of the suspect and his vehicle from a nearby business. The photos are being made publicly available in an attempt to identity the suspect.
On May 10 at 3:08AM, officers responded to the Bayvue Apartments located in the 1400 block of Bayside Ave. in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate a stabbing. Upon arrival, officers located a 42-year-old man, suffering from severe stab wounds.
On May 7 at 3:22PM, officers responded to the 3500 block of Forestdale Ave. in Dale City to investigate a shots fired call. Upon arrival, officers located a 19- year-old man lying on the ground suffering from a gunshot wound. A good Samaritan provided first aid until officers took over. The man was eventually flown to an area hospital with life-threatening injuries.
On May 5 at 8:30 p.m., officers responded to… the 3300 block of Beaumont Rd. in Dale City (22193) to investigate a domestic…officers located the victim, a 63-year-old man, suffering from a gunshot wound.
Shooting into a Residential Dwelling – On June 17 at 6:15PM, officers responded to the Riverwood Apartments located in the 2700 block of Yosocomico Ln. in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate an initial report of shots fired. Residents reported to police that gunshots were heard before parties dispersed, leaving the area on foot and in vehicles.
The investigation revealed that a group of individuals were near a shed on George Page Pl. when gunfire was exchanged with another group of individuals who were near the playground on Yosocomico Ln. Both groups dispersed following the gunshots, including one suspect who was observed walking away while carrying a firearm. While investigating, officers were informed that a round entered an occupied residence, grazing a 9-year-old girl.
Rescue personnel responded and treated the victim at the scene for minor injuries. While canvassing the area, officers located an unoccupied parked car and a tree that sustained damage consistent with being struck by projectiles. Multiple shell casings were located in the above areas where the groups were observed. No additional injuries or property damage were reported.

A black male, approximately 5’9”, 175lbs.
Last seen wearing a white muscle-style shirt, dark colored jeans, and carrying a firearm
Armed Robbery – On June 18 at 3:37AM, officers responded to investigate a robbery that was reported to have occurred in the area near Bayside Ave. and Mount Pleasant Dr. in Woodbridge (22191) at approximately 5:00PM on June 17.
The victim, an 18-year-old man, reported to police that while walking in the above area, he was approached from behind by an unknown man. During the encounter, the suspect brandished a firearm at the victim and demanded his property. The suspect took the victim’s phone as two additional unknown men approached them who also began rummaging through the victim’s pockets.
The suspects then fled on foot towards some apartment buildings nearby. The victim eventually reported the incident to police. No injuries were reported. The only suspect description is three males with blue/black face masks.
On June 15, detectives with the Special Victims Unit began an investigation into a sexual battery that was reported to have occurred at the Walgreens located at 14095 Jefferson Davis Hwy in Woodbridge (22191) on May 29 at approximately 7:22 p.m.
