A Tik Toc challenge where teens use “splatter” guns to shoot non-lethal, gel projectiles have come to Stafford County.

Deputies were called to Goose Pond Road in the Garrison Woods neighborhood at 5:38 p.m. Friday, March 18. Police were told several neighborhood children were hit with gel balls fired from Spatter Ball Guns.

Police have a suspect in custody following the hit-and-run crash we told you that occurred last weekend in Woodbridge.

On Monday, March 14, the suspect sought in connection to the hit-and-run crash in the 2000 block of Cumberland Drive in Woodbridge one day earlier was arrested.

On March 11 at 6:59 p.m., Deputy C.M. Sterne went to a Walmart at 11 Village Parkway in Stafford County for a report of a pedestrian struck by an SUV. The deputy learned a 70-year-old pedestrian was pushing a shopping cart in the parking lot, when an SUV struck her.

Emergency crews took the woman to a hospital with serious injuries.

A driver who got out of his car and fled a traffic stop scene was arrested three days later in Stafford County.

On Sunday, March 6 at 8:44 p.m., Sgt. K.P. Lytle, Jr. stopped a car at Centreport Parkway and Chestnut Hill Drive after the driver ignored a stop sign, police said.

A Woodbridge man was held with bond on charges he sexually assaulted two children who lived in his home.

On March 9, detectives with the Special Victims Bureau, in coordination with Child Protective Services (CPS), began an investigation into a sexual assault that was reported to have occurred at a home in Woodbridge on March 8.

Police report today officers found weapons at two Prince William County Public Schools.

On Friday, March 4 at 11:26 a.m., a School Resource Officer at Ronald Reagan Middle School, at 15801 Tanning House Place in Haymarket, was notified by school personnel that two students were each in possession of a knife.
