A high-speed chase from Stafford to Prince William County landed one man in jail, facing charges he impersonated an FBI agent.

On Sunday, May 1 at 7:42 p.m. deputies went to Stafford Market Place for a report of a disturbance. They found a construction crew preparing work on the parking lot.

Police are searching for the shooter, described as a black male with a medium complexion, between 5 feet 6 inches and 5 feet 10 inches tall, with a thin build.

The condition or the identification of the victims was not released.

On April 28 at 5:20 p.m.,  officers went to the Broadstone at River Oaks Apartments in the 3100 block of Chesapeake Drive near Dumfries to investigate a shooting in progress.

Officers found a 22-year-old woman suffering from a gunshot wound. Rescue crews took the woman to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Calls began coming into the Stafford County 9-1-1 emergency call center Thursday, April 28, about a social media post threatening a mass shooting in Stafford County.

According to authorities, there is no credible threat. The threat also did not indicate where or when the shooting would occur.

A jail fight resulted in many charges for several inmates.

At 9:38 p.m., April 26, deputies went to the Rappahannock Regional Jail, 1745 Richmond Highway in Stafford, for a report of an assault. The investigation revealed an inmate started an argument with two inmates, Collins Turner, 22, and Travis Ball, 32.

According to police, detectives found a man distributed child pornography through an undisclosed network between July 2021 and December 2021. After the investigation, detectives obtained arrest warrants for the suspect and arrested him on April 25.

[Redacted] in Woodbridge, is charged with distribution of child pornography and distribution of child pornography 2nd or subsequent offense. His court date is pending, and he was held without bond.

A man was arrested Sunday, April 24 after brandishing a handgun during a road rage incident in Stafford County.

At 6:23 p.m., Deputy E.E. West went to the area of Route 1 and Perchwood Drive, near Adventure Brewing Company. Duties West and J.W. Ahern located stopped a driver and conducted a stop in the 2000 block of Route 1.

On Friday, April 22, at 2:34 p.m., officers investigated a report of indecent exposure at the Woodwind Villa Apartments, 14400 block of Saxophone Way, near the Americana Grocery in Woodbridge on April 13.

The investigation revealed the victim, a 42-year-old woman, was walking her dog when she observed a man remove his pants and walk nude toward the leasing office. The man eventually returned, retrieved his pants, put them back on, and walked toward a breezeway.
