An excavator struck a low-hanging bridge at Route 17 and Interstate 95 in Stafford County this morning.

No one suffered injuries, and both roads were temporarily closed while Virginia Department of Transportation crews examined the bridge that carries interstate traffic over Route 17. As of 11:30 a.m., Interstate 95 reopened while the northbound portion of Route 17 remained closed.

A man filled his cart with goods from a Home Depot Store in Woodbridge, pushed a store employee to the ground, and strolled out.

At 5:36 p.m. Wednesday, February, officers were called to the home improvement store at 14025 Foulger Square in Woodbridge, near Kohls, to investigate a robbery.

Prince William

At 10:01 a.m., a FedEx delivery van collided with a fire truck on Prince William Parkway at Balls Ford Road near Gainesville.

The driver of the van was injured and taken to an area hospital, a fire and rescue spokesman said. The crew on the fire truck had been called to the scene for a report of a car fire.

The mandate is not supported by science, not supported by the majority of parents, the kids absolutely hate it, and the teachers are put in a bad position. We can go in most any establishment without facing a mask mandate.

As soon as our kids get out of school the masks come off, they play sports and other games together, and the masks do not go back on until they walk through the school doors the next day. What’s wrong with this picture?

After authorities found two malnourished dogs on death’s doorstep, a Stafford County couple faces animal cruelty charges.

On January 25 at 1:30 p.m., Stafford Deputy O.J. Hepperle responded to a townhome in England Run for a welfare check of a dog. She located a six-year-old mixed-breed medium-sized dog named Gracie that was extremely skinny.
