The Prince William County Government removed an online survey asking employees about their gender identity, sexual orientation, and whether or not they feel valued at work after Supervisor Yesli Vega shared the survey with her constituents.

The 21-question survey (see it here) cost taxpayers $78,000, or about $3,700 per question, and was conducted by DiversityMBA/Learning Solutions, according to an email from Maria Burgos, the county's equity and inclusion officer.

Updated March 1, 2023 -- Fairfax County police said they don't expect foul play after officers found a body at a landfill.

While they haven't identified the body, police told PLN they observed no signs of trauma in the victim.

The body arrived at a landfill on West Ox Road by trash truck on Monday, February 27, 2023.

New homes at K. Hovnanian's Four Seasons at Virginia Crossing in Woodbridge.

In January, 299 homes were sold, a noticeable decrease of 25.62% from December of 2022, according to the Prince William Association of Realtors.

The number of new listings decreased by 8.99% to 405 from 445 in December 2022. A total of 342 active listings were listed in 2023 compared to 137 in 2022, a 149.64% increase. '

Protesters gather at the Virginia DEQ office in Woodbridge, urging state leaders not to allow data centers to use emergency backup diesel generators.

The next phase in the conservationists' battle against the proliferation of data centers in Northern Virginia has taken to the skies.

Protestors gathered today outside the Virginia Department of Environmental Quality office in Woodbridge to urge state officials not to allow data center operators to stray from the state's clean air laws and issue a variance to allow them to use diesel generators during high-stress on the power grid to power server farms in Fairfax, Prince William, and Loudoun counties.
