An ambulance took a Prince William County Public Schools student from her classroom to a hospital after having a reaction after using narcotics.

Police and rescue crews were called to Independence Traditional School near Manassas at 9:44 a.m. Wednesday, January 4, 2023, after the unidentified student showed signs of illness.

Police said the suspect who crashed into a school bus on December 16, 2022 causing it to overturn, injuring two students in Stafford County, is behind bars.

It’s one of three separate incidents, and two arrests in which the suspect has been involved in the past month.

A domestic dispute between a Washington, D.C., man and a 17-year-old girl sparked a mass shooting that left a 3-year-old girl dead.

The suspect had an argument with a 17-year-old girl with whom he had a relationship outside a home in the 17900 block of Milroy Drive in Dumfries just before 11 a.m. today, Wednesday, January 4, 2023, and then shot her. Afterward, he went inside the home, shot and killed what police only describe as a small child.

On Tuesday, January 3, at 4:58 a.m., officers responded to the 7-Eleven located at on Route 234 at Purcell Road, near Manassas, to investigate a robbery.

The investigation revealed a masked man entered the store, walked behind the service counter, and demanded the store clerk open the registers. When the clerk initially refused, the suspect brandished a knife at the clerk.

A Spotsylvania man has been arrested after an incident involving a girl in Aquia Harbour over the weekend.

On Saturday, December 31, deputies were called to the neighborhood in North Stafford to investigate a suspicious incident. Police said a “pre-teen” girl was walking in the 3600 block of Aquia Drive when she was approached by a man in a van. The subject made a sexually explicit comment, described by a police spokesman as suggestive, to the girl.

On December 29, the suspect involved in two bank robberies near Manassas. was arrested. The first robbery occurred at Wells Fargo on October 4, and the second at Bank of America on November 19.

Fairfax County police arrested the suspect on December 28 concerning a bank robbery in the Reston area. During the investigation, the suspect was connected to the two robberies in Prince William County.

Just before 2 p.m. on Sunday, December 25th, Stafford County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to a disturbance in the 600 block of Ramoth Church Road. Police heard a man breaking windows. As deputies arrived, they discovered a mobile home had been set ablaze.

Stafford County Fire and Rescue units were dispatched for the reported structure fire and arrived approximately five minutes later. Stafford County Fire and Rescue crews extended multiple lines and controlled the fire in 10 minutes.
