A Prince William County man is dead, and another faces charges after a crash this morning.
At 6:13 a.m., investigators with the Crash Investigation Unit responded to Sudley Road and Stepney Drive near Gainesville to investigate a crash.

A pursuit through South Stafford resulted in arresting the driver and passenger of a vehicle, after deputies used intentional vehicle contact to end the chase safely.
On Friday, February 10 at 2:30 p.m. Deputy B.W. Gildea stopped a suspended driver in a black Chevy Monte Carlo at Warrenton Road and Interstate 95. Deputy D.R. Ludolph responded to assist, and the deputies attempted to identify an unrestrained male passenger in the front seat.
Police are searching for the man who robbed a United Bank near Dumfries.
On Saturday, February 11, at 10:10 a.m., officers responded to the United Bank located at 17054 Richmond Highway to investigate a robbery.
The investigation revealed an unknown man entered the bank and passed a note to a teller demanding money. The suspect took an undisclosed amount of money before fleeing the bank on foot toward Route 1.
No weapon was seen, and no injuries were reported. A police K-9 and Fairfax County police helicopter searched the area for the suspect who was not located.
Police in Manassas reminded residents to meet in a well-lit area when agreeing to meet to sell an item after two people were robbed on Tuesday, February 7, 2023.

On Friday, February 3 at 2:31 p.m., officers responded to the TD Bank located at 16714 Richmond Highway in Woodbridge to investigate a robbery. The investigation revealed that an unknown man approached a teller inside the bank and held a note demanding money.
On Saturday, February 4, at 5:50 a.m., officers responded to a home located in the 16500 block of Sherwood Place in Woodbridge to investigate shots fired call.
The investigation revealed multiple gunshots that struck a house. During a canvass of the neighborhood, two additional homes and three unoccupied vehicles were found to have been struck by the gunfire. Officers made contact at the homes and located the vehicle owners, and no injuries were reported.
