Fairfax Connection: “Two juvenile suspects have turned themselves in for their involvement in the Franconia shooting that left a Woodbridge man dead.”
“On Wednesday, Dec. 20, Fairfax County Police officers were notified of two juvenile suspects who turned themselves in to Arlington Police. Both juveniles were transported to Fairfax County and charged. One juvenile is charged with Second Degree Murder and Use of a Firearm in the Commission of a Felony. The second juvenile is charged with Principal in the Second Degree. Both juveniles are currently being held at the Juvenile Detention Center.”

Prince William Police Department: “Suspicious Incident – On December 18 at 12:34 p.m., the School Resource Officer (SRO) assigned to Colgan High School located at 13833 Dumfries Road in Manassas was notified of inappropriate drawings and writings found in a bathroom. The investigation revealed earlier that morning, school security personnel entered a male bathroom where they encountered students who found multiple pieces of toilet paper with derogatory/offensive language and inappropriate images written on them. The SRO and school personnel determined none of the observed writings appeared to contain any threats of harm towards students, staff, or other school personnel. A search was conducted, and no additional writings were located.”

“This is still an active investigation, and we do not currently have any further information to release. Out of respect for the family and their request, the victim’s name will not be released at this time,” sheriff’s spokesman Ryan Wilbur told us.
A string of questions we sent to the department about this story have gone unanswered.

Manassas Park Police: [On December 15, 2023] a Manassas Park Police School Resource Officer was notified of an altercation that occurred between two students at the High School. The Officer investigated the incident and charged one student with malicious wounding. The other student is being treated at a local hospital for serious injuries. The altercation was an isolated incident and due to both students being juveniles no additional information will be released.”

Prince William Police Department: “Sexual Assault Investigation *ARREST – On December 14, the suspect sought in connection to the sexual assault that was reported to have occurred at the Food Lion located at 12420 Dillingham Square in Woodbridge on December 8, was arrested. While investigating the incident, detectives identified the suspect as Diego Honorato VALENCIA and on December 14, following the investigation, he was arrested. Arrested on December 14: Diego Honorato VALENCIA, 43, of 12351 Midsummer Lane in Woodbridge. Charged with sexual assault. Court Date: Pending | Bond: Held WITHOUT Bond.”
“Sexual Assault Investigation [Previously Released] – On December 8 at 8, officers responded to the Food Lion located at 12420 Dillingham Square in Woodbridge to investigate an assault. The investigation revealed the victim, a 15-year-old male juvenile, was inside the restroom when he was approached by an unknown man. Without provocation, the man inappropriately touched the victim and made hand gestures before leaving the restroom. The suspect was last seen leaving in a newer model Toyota Camry. The victim reported the incident to a family member who notified the police. No injuries were reported.”
