A jury convicted seven MS-13 gang members, including three from Woodbridge, and associates on charges of sex trafficking a minor under the age of 14 and other child sexual exploitation offenses.

According to court records and evidence presented at trial, in August 2018, the 13-year-old victim ran away from a youth home in Northern Virginia. Shortly after running away, the victim was introduced to members of MS-13. Gang members told her they would be her family and protect her if she joined the gang, according to a court press release.

A Woodbridge, Va. man faces multiple charges following a pursuit on Interstate 95 early Sunday, June 26.

At 2:56 a.m., a Virginia State Police trooper attempted to stop a Dodge Charger traveling south on I-95 near Exit 163 for Lorton. The traffic stop was for the license plate being reported stolen from Maryland.

Police say they arrested a man who secreted bodily fluid on a woman during a brazen sexual assault in a Prince William County grocery store.

On Friday, June 24, at 9:45 a.m., police were called to a Food Lion store at 6306 Hoadly Road in Dale City. A man followed an employee, a 58-year-old woman, around the store. The man had been known to visit the store and had had previous brief encounters with the female employee in the past, police said.

On Thursday, June 23, a suspect sought in connection to the road rage shooting incident on Route 1 in Woodbridge on May 6, was arrested.

On May 6 at 2:48 p.m., Prince William County police went to the area of Route 1 and Dale Boulevard in Woodbridge to investigate a shooting. The victim, a 47- year-old man, said he was involved in a road rage incident with the driver of a gray Honda Accord while driving on Dale Boulevard. approaching Neabsco Mills Road.

On Thursday, June 23 at 2:07 a.m, Prince William County police officers responded to the Exxon service station located at 7113 Sudley Road near Manassas to investigate shoplifting.

On June 21 at 7:30 p.m., officers responded to a home in the 7700 block of Gateshead Lane near Manassas to investigate a report of a missing adult. The man was eventually located at an area hospital after being taken by rescue personnel earlier in the day.

Shortly before 2 o’clock that afternoon, the accused was determined to be under the influence of medications mixed with alcohol when he fired multiple rounds inside the home, police said.

A Manassas man was arrested after attempting to elude Virginia State Police and crashing into a Stafford County deputy and several other cars in North Stafford, police said.

On Sunday, June 19 at 7:05 p.m. deputies received a “be on the lookout” from Virginia State Police for a black Nissan Sentra. A trooper had stopped the Nissan on Truslow Road near U.S. 1 for reckless driving, and the suspect fled the traffic stop northbound on U.S. 1 eluding the trooper.
