Prince William Police Department: Shooting Investigation *SUSPECT IDENTIFIED – On October 26, detectives identified the suspect sought in connection to the shooting that was reported to have occurred outside of a residence located in the 14500 block of Earlham Court in Woodbridge on October 16. While investigating the incident, detectives identified the suspect as Michael Carlos DUNCAN, and following the investigation, obtained warrants for his arrest. Attempts to locate the accused have been unsuccessful. Wanted: [No Photo Available] Michael Carlos DUNCAN, 43, of the 14700 block of Candlewood Court in Woodbridge. Described as a black male, approximately 5’6, 200lbs., with black hair and brown eyes. Wanted for abduction, use of a firearm in commission of a felony, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, and aggravated malicious wounding.”

Shooting Investigation [Previously Released] – On October 16 at 7:13 p.m., officers responded to a residence located in the 14500 block of Earlham Court in Woodbridge to investigate a shooting. The investigation revealed the victim, a 39-year-old man, was speaking to the occupants of a white Kia Soul in front of the residence, when an altercation ensued. During the encounter, a male passenger in the vehicle fired a handgun towards the victim, striking him once in the lower body. The victim retreated to the home and fired his own weapon multiple towards the vehicle. The female driver of the vehicle was known to the victim from a previous relationship. The victim was treated at an area hospital for his non-life threatening injury. No other injuries or property damage were reported. This incident was not random. Detectives are actively following-up on leads regarding the identity of the shooter. The investigation continues.”

Prince William police: “Aggravated Malicious Wounding – On October 18 at 2:05PM, officers responded to Game Stop located in Potomac Mills, 2700 Potomac Mills Cl. in Woodbridge (22192), to investigate a fight. The investigation revealed the victim, 30-year-old man and a patron of the store, and an employee, identified as the accused, were involved in a verbal altercation that escalated.”

“During the encounter, the accused retrieved a pocketknife and stabbed the victim in the upper body. Officers provided first aid to the victim who was treated at an area hospital for a non-life threatening injury. The accused initially left the store before returning where he was detained without further incident. No additional injuries were reported. Following the investigation, the accused, identified as Xavior Robert Lee COURTNEY, was arrested.

Prince William police: “Murder Investigation – On October 16 at 1:27AM, officers responded to a residence located in the 5600 block of Shannon Ct in [Dale City] (22193) to investigate a domestic dispute. The investigation revealed the victim, a 51-year-old man, and his adult son, identified as the accused, were involved in a physical altercation. Police initially received a call regarding the accused destroying property inside the home and possibly being under the influence of an unknown narcotic. When officers arrived at the home, the accused was observed unclothed and actively assaulting another individual, later determined to be his father.”

“Officers challenged the accused, who initially ignored commands and continued to assault his father before briefly retreating further into the home. At one point, the accused reemerged and exited the residence, where he advanced toward officers in an agitated state and grabbed the vest of a K-9 officer.”

Prince William Police Department: Murder Investigation *VICTIM IDENTIFIED – Following the notification of a next-of-kin, police are announcing the identity of the victim killed in a stabbing that occurred at the Dale Forest Apartments located in the 14300 block of Wrangler Lane in [Dale City] on October 6. The victim, Jeremy David LEWIS, 43, of Dumfries, was fatally stabbed inside the apartment following an altercation with an acquaintance. The acquaintance was previously arrested following the incident.”

“Identified: The deceased was identified as Jeremy David LEWIS, 43, of Dumfries. Arrested on October 6: [Mugshot now Attached] Joi Camille STORR, 41, of 14329 Wrangler Lane, #12, in Woodbridge. Charged with murder and stabbing in the commission of a felony. Court Date: Pending | Bond: Held WITHOUT Bond.”

Prince William Police Department: Murder Investigation *ARREST – On September 27, the suspect sought in connection to shooting death of a 25-year-old man following an altercation that occurred at the Misty Ridge Apartments located in the 15000 block of Lost Canyon Court in Woodbridge on May 21, was arrested. The suspect and victim were involved in an argument in front of the complex when the victim was fatally shot during an exchange of gunfire. In June, the suspect was identified, and warrants were obtained for his arrest with a reward offered for information leading to his whereabouts and conviction. On September 27, the suspect, identified as Jeffrey Donelle HAMPTON, turned himself in to police without incident. Arrested on September 27: Jeffrey Donelle HAMPTON, 34, of the 13902 Roanoke Street in Woodbridge. Charged with 1 count of murder, 1 count of use of a firearm in commission of a felony, 1 count of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, and 2 counts of shooting into an occupied dwelling. Court Date: Pending | Bond: Held WITHOUT Bond. Identified: The deceased was identified as Michael Eugene HAWKINS, III, 25, of Woodbridge.”

Murder Investigation *REWARD INCREASED [Previously Released] – The Prince Wiliam County Police Department has increased the reward offered regarding the whereabouts of the suspect sought in connection to shooting death of a 25-year-old man following an altercation that occurred at the Misty Ridge Apartments located in the 15000 block of Lost Canyon Court in Woodbridge on May 21. The involved parties were in an argument when the victim fatally shot as gunfire was exchanged. In June, the suspect was identified as Jeffrey Donelle HAMPTON. Detectives obtained arrest warrants for the suspect and an initial reward amount was offered for information leading to his arrest and conviction. Further attempts and leads in locating the suspect have been unsuccessful. The Police Department are now offering an increased reward of up to $10,000 for information that leads to the arrest and conviction of this suspect. The investigation continues.”

Prince William police: “Fatal Crash Investigation *DRIVER CHARGED – On September 7, crash investigators obtained charges for one of the drivers involved in the fatal crash that occurred in the area of Minnieville Rd. and Hedgewood Dr. in Woodbridge (22193) on August 30. The drivers of both vehicles involved in the collision were found to have been traveling at a high rate of speed leading up to the collision. The driver charged was operating a vehicle and lost control, striking the other vehicle which then left the roadway and hit a tree. The collision killed the 23-year-old driver of the vehicle, a 2011 BMW 535. The deceased was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash. Following the investigation, crash investigators charged the driver of the 2014 Nissan 370 Z, identified as Bilecer Turcios HERNANDEZ, who was also determined to have been driving the vehicle without a license.”

Prince William Police Department: “Strong-Arm Robbery *SUSPECTS IDENTIFIED | ARREST – On September 5, one of the suspects sought in connection to the robbery that was reported to have occurred in the 4300 block of Dale Boulevard in Woodbridge (22193) on August 31, was arrested. While investigating the incident, officers identified the acquaintance as Brandon Lamont MCKINNEY, and the man who took the victim’s property as Jeffrey Farenzo OWUSU. On September 2, following the investigation, officers obtained arrest warrants for both suspects. On September 5, the OWUSU suspect was located and taken into custody. The investigation remains active as officers attempt to locate the MCKINNEY suspect. Arrested on September 5: Jeffrey Farenzo OWUSU, 26, of 3573 Clinton Rose Court in Triangle. Charged with robbery. Court Date: Pending | Bond: Unavailable. Wanted: [Photo from March 2023]. Brandon Lamont MCKINNEY, 28, of the 1500 block of Ranger Loop in Woodbridge. Described as a black male, approximately 5’8, 110lbs., with black hair and brown eyes. Wanted for principal in the second degree of robbery.”

Strong-Arm Robbery [Previously Released] – On August 31 at 7:04 p.m., officers responded to the 4300 block of Dale Boulevard in Woodbridge (22193) to investigate a robbery. The investigation revealed the victim, a 20-year-old woman, and a male acquaintance, were in the parking lot of the above area when a vehicle pulled up next to them. The male acquaintance got into the vehicle which was occupied by three black males and a white female. When the victim refused to get inside the vehicle, one of the other male occupants of the vehicle grabbed her bag before the vehicle sped off. The victim, who was not injured, reported her bag and a safe missing. One of the suspects was described as a black male with long hair twists that were in a ponytail on the side of his head.”

Prince William County Police:Fatal Crash Investigation – On August 30 at 7:35 p.m., crash investigators responded to the area of Minnieville Road and Hedgewood Drive in Woodbridge (22193) to investigate a crash.”

“The investigation revealed the drivers of a 2011 BMW 535, and a 2014 Nissan 370 Z were traveling southbound on Minnieville Road at a high rate of speed when the driver of the Nissan attempted an aggressive maneuver to pass a pick-up truck. While attempting the maneuver, the driver of the Nissan lost control of the vehicle and struck the driver’s side area of the BMW.”

Prince William Police Department:Armed Robbery *ARREST – On August 10, detectives concluded the investigation into the robbery that was reported to have occurred in the 3100 block of Chesapeake Drive in Dumfries (22026) on July 30.
