Stafford County, a resident on Baldwin Drive reported fraud after discovering that an unknown individual had opened a credit card in their name. Deputy R. A. Kehoe addressed the incident.
Ulta Beauty at Stafford Market Place also experienced a series of thefts on October 13th. Deputy C. D. Sullivan responded to the report detailing three separate larcenies committed by different suspects, each stealing various items from the store.
Fredericksburg Police Department (X) – The Fredericksburg Police Department is investigating a sexual assault that occurred Sunday, October 19, 2025, at approximately 9:00 p.m. on the canal path between Washington Avenue and Emancipation Highway in the area of Cossey Pond. The suspect is described as a male, approximately 5’4’’–5’5’’, medium build, possibly Middle Eastern, Hispanic, or Indian, last seen running toward Emancipation Highway and Mary Washington Boulevard.
The department stated that no weapons were displayed during the incident and that patrols will be increased along the canal path. In other incidents, vandalism occurred at Shoppers Food Warehouse where a bathroom door was damaged. Additionally, a fraud case was reported on Debra Drive involving unauthorized attempts to open a bank account using a resident’s information.
There were also reports of theft at My Eye Dr. and Walmart Neighborhood Market, where eyeglass frames and steaks were stolen, respectively.
A high-speed pursuit unfolded on Kings Highway (Route 3) in Stafford County after a driver in a white Nissan truck ignored deputies conducting traffic control, police said.
The driver, later identified as a 59-year-old man from Stafford, sped away from the scene, reaching speeds of seventy to eighty miles per hour while weaving through traffic.
A robbery attempt at a Tobacco Hut on South Gateway Drive led to the arrest of a 32-year-old Stafford man. The suspect brandished a knife and threatened the store clerk, demanding money. After fleeing the scene, he was apprehended by deputies with the knife still in his possession. He is charged with attempted robbery and is being held without bond.
In another incident, a 39-year-old Stafford man was arrested for DUI on Warrenton Road. The driver, found with a revoked license and refusing a breath test, faces multiple charges, including DUI and driving without an ignition interlock.
In a separate incident, a 26-year-old woman from District Heights, Md., was arrested for shoplifting at a Target store. She attempted to leave with concealed items and initially provided a false name to law enforcement. She is being held on a secured bond.
Additionally, two fraud cases were reported involving unauthorized credit card activities in Stafford County. Investigations into these incidents are ongoing.
MANASSAS PARK, Va. — Manassas Park Police say they seized more than 30 illegal gaming machines during coordinated raids Thursday at multiple businesses across the city.
Detectives executed eight search warrants on October 9, 2025, after an investigation into illegal gambling operations that began with two citizen complaints earlier this year. Police say surveillance at several establishments confirmed the use of the machines, which resembled arcade-style devices offering cash or prize payouts.
A burglary occurred at the Mobil Gas service station on Gideon Dr in Woodbridge. Early on October 8, around 2:53 AM, an unknown man broke into the business by prying open a rear door. Once inside, he stole money from an ATM and a cash register, along with other merchandise, before fleeing on foot.
The incident was discovered later that morning, prompting a police response. The suspect is described as a male wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt, sweatpants, white socks, dark-colored slides, gloves, and carrying a backpack.
A robbery occurred on Douglas Drive on October 8, where a victim reported being knocked down and having her purse stolen by a male suspect. The suspect was described as a black male in his twenties, wearing a black hoodie and having puffy hair.
In another incident, a driver was arrested for DUI at Heflin’s Garage on October 7. The driver, found with two open cans of beer, was also wanted for violating a protective order. He was charged with multiple offenses and held without bond.
A 45-year-old woman is charged with indecent exposure at the Bayvue Apartments in Woodbridge.
On October 5, security reported a resident walking through the building, exposing herself, police said. Officers attempted to speak with her, but she refused to cooperate. An arrest warrant was obtained, and she was taken into custody the following day after resisting arrest. No injuries were reported.
