A road rage incident on Interstate 95 near the Garrisonville exit in Stafford County has police seeking information from drivers.
At 7:32 p.m., Thursday February 9, 2023, a Mercedes sedan was traveling north on I-95 when a silver Toyota Corolla pulled alongside the Mercedes near the 143 mile marker.
During the past few weeks, families, students, Girl Scout troops, and more created handwritten messages for local Veterans and sent more than 1,000 valentines to Spanberger’s office for the event.

On Monday, February 13, at 5:15 p.m., deputies responded to the Walmart at 11 Village Parkway for larceny. Store employees said reported a female had been shoplifting. When confronted, she abandoned over $600 of merchandise and fled with three heart-shaped boxes of candy, police said.
The suspect drove away in a grey Mercedes C30. The employees also provided vehicle registration for responding deputies.
Four poeple are homeless after a fire ripped through an apartment building in Woodbridge.
At 9:41 a.m. Monday, February 12, 2023, units responded to the 1300 block of Eisenhower Circle for an apartment fire. Crews found a fire on a second-floor deck extending to the balcony above.
CTE, or work-based learning, as it’s also known, is a hot topic in the region as public school divisions aim to place students into internships and externships at companies in the region. The practice gained steam in 2018, but it was derailed by government-ordered school building closures brought on by the coronavirus pandemic.
In Fredericksburg today, more than 500 students were invited to attend an internship expo at the city’s event center, where they could interview representatives from prospective companies looking to attract new talent.
