“This achievement exemplifies our shared values of compassion, unity, and generosity. It’s more than notes on a page or beats in a rhythm; it’s the melody of kindness and the symphony of support,” said Dr. Annamarie Bollino, Stafford Schools Coordinator of Fine and Performing Arts. “Thank you to everyone who contributed, volunteered, and supported this incredible cause.”

“Admission to the event was free with a non-perishable food item benefitting the Fredericksburg Regional Food Bank. Since its inception 11 years ago, the event has raised more than 300,000 meals for the surrounding communities.”

“[Latarsha Gray, 37, of Fredericksburg] received a felony charge after causing a scene at a South Stafford Wawa,” the Stafford County Sheriff’s Office reports.

“On December 17th at approximately 9:52 p.m. Deputy B.M. Taylor responded to Wawa, located at 9 South Gateway Drive, for a disturbance. Staff advised a female attempted to buy a tobacco product. When an employee requested her identification, she became upset and began screaming at the employee. Other employees attempted to de-escalate the situation, but when they were unsuccessful, they requested the suspect to leave. Instead, the suspect made threats on their life, assaulted an employee, and sprayed pepper spray on an employee before fleeing the area.”

“Representatives from the contractor working on the new Jennie Dean Elementary School recently presented updated plans to the Manassas City Public School Board, including space for keeping sports fields on the site, reports Emily Seymour at Insidenova.com. “The proposed design plan is a version of design “Concept E,” which would place the school on the northern part of the site and would displace the fields that currently exist.”
