“Have leaves ready by 7 a.m. on the first day of service in your section and place them at the curb, utility strip, or edge of pavement — the vacuum will not go beyond the right-of-way.”
City officials reminded residents, “Do not include branches, sticks, logs, or other debris, those piles will NOT be collected,” and noted that “our new one-person leaf truck helps make collection faster and more efficient, allowing for quicker passes through neighborhoods.”
“The Berea Church Road Improvement Project is moving into Phase 3,” Stafford County Government announced. “Beginning today, November 3, 2025, Berea Church Road will be fully closed from Berea Knolls Drive and Brimley Drive to Fleet Road.”
County officials added, “The section of road from Truslow Road to Berea Knolls Drive and Brimley Drive that was previously closed is now reopened.”
“Restaurant Week 2025 – Fall Edition will run November 8–16, 2025,” Historic Manassas, Inc. announced. “Public House Kitchen & Brewery, located at 9406 Battle Street, will feature tiered menus including two shareables for $20, two sandwiches or burgers for $27, and a dinner for two for $45.”
The dinner option includes one starter and two main courses, with choices such as smoked Gouda mac and cheese, vegetable ravioli, and bourbon-glazed salmon. Restaurant Week menus are designed to showcase downtown Manassas dining while encouraging visitors to explore locally owned eateries during the weeklong event.
Voters across Prince William, Stafford, Fredericksburg, and Manassas are heading to the polls today — Tuesday, November 4, 2025 — to decide races that will shape schools, growth, and governance for years to come.

“This Veterans Day, Prince William County is honoring those who’ve served through ‘One Community, Many Heroes,’ a digital tribute built from community submissions,” the county announced. “Every photo tells a story of courage and commitment. Together, they will form a portrait of gratitude.”
Residents are encouraged to submit photos of veterans by Friday, November 7, to be included in the county’s Veterans Day digital tribute recognizing local service members and their families.
“Reminder: There will be no school for students on Monday, November 3 or Tuesday, November 4,” Prince William County Public Schools posted.
Fredericksburg City Public Schools also reminded families, “There is no school for students tomorrow, Tuesday, November 4, 2025.”
“We’re grateful for the opportunity to serve and hope this event provides a bit of relief during a challenging time,” Haymarket Regional Food Pantry announced. “Each eligible worker will receive a box of shelf-stable groceries – no registration required.”
The pantry will hold the pop-up distribution on Sunday, November 9, from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. at its Haymarket location. Federal employees affected by the shutdown can participate by presenting a valid government ID, regardless of where they live. The organization plans to distribute 300 food boxes, made possible by a longtime donor and community partners.
