“The Fall Gallery Walk takes place this Saturday, November 8, from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. here in Old Town Manassas,” Historic Manassas, Inc. announced. “This event, held by the Manassas Art Guild, pairs local artists and their works with businesses throughout town.”

Visitors are invited to stroll through Old Town using a gallery map—or simply follow the balloons—to discover a variety of art styles created by Manassas-area artists. The event offers a chance to meet artists, explore local shops, and enjoy an afternoon of creativity in the heart of the city.

Hold the Phone! Cops Hit Pause on Calls for Morning Maintenance

“The Fredericksburg Police Department will have a planned outage of its administrative phone lines tomorrow, Thursday, November 6, from 6 a.m. to 8 a.m. for a system upgrade,” the City of Fredericksburg announced. “During this time, administrative phone numbers may be temporarily unavailable.”

Residents who need to report a non-emergency during the brief “phone nap” can still reach the department at 540-373-1414 or 540-834-2211. Officials emphasized that 911 emergency lines will remain fully operational during the upgrade.

Spotsylvania Man Charged on Multiple Child Exploitation, Obscenity Charges

Deputies responded November 3 to a report of an adult male meeting with an underage female. The investigation was conducted by the department’s Child Victim’s Unit and Internet Crimes Against Children Unit, which is part of the NOVA-DC ICAC Taskforce. The sheriff’s office emphasized its collaboration with the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children to prevent child exploitation and urged anyone with concerns about abuse to contact local authorities or NCMEC.
