Prince William County Police Report 4 Separate Malicious Wounding Incidents

The most recent being on October 7, where a 39-year-old man was charged with malicious wounding and domestic assault after allegedly choking and slapping a 31-year-old woman during a dispute and pushing a 17-year-old girl, causing her to hit a railing.

Woodbridge Killer Receives 60-Year Sentence for 2022 Double Homicide

A man was sentenced to 70 years in prison, with 10 years suspended, for the May 2022 murders of two individuals in Woodbridge. A jury found him guilty of first-degree murder, conspiracy to commit murder, and gang participation involving a juvenile.

Man Charged in Spotsylvania Bank Robbery Attempt

Spotsylvania Sheriff's office responded to a domestic violence report that resulted in an officer shooting.

On October 4, 2024, a male suspect entered a bank in Cosner Corner and handed the teller a note demanding money, displaying a knife during the attempt but leaving without any cash. Deputies quickly arrived to search for the suspect, who was spotted and apprehended by a fire marshal in the area, and the suspect was later charged with entering a bank armed with the intent to commit larceny.
