Three people are homeless after an apartment Apartment Fire on Saturday, January 13, 2024 at 4:39 p.m.
Prince William County, fire and rescue crews, were dispatched to the 1500 block of Constellation Drive at the Woodbridge Station Apartments after a resident found a fire on their balcony.
A townhouse fire broke out in a neighborhood just off Cardinal Drive.
Prince William County fire and rescue crews were called Friday, January 12, 2024, at 12:25 p.m. to the 2900 block of Stockholm Way for a townhouse fire. Crews arrived to find the occupants safely out and smoke showing from the first floor.
“Officials say the fire is located in the area of 9900 blk of Richmond Hwy in the Lorton area. Crews arrived to find a scrap pile on fire. Crews continue to work to extinguish the fire. No reported civilian or firefighter injuries at this time,” reports WTTG-TV.
The fire broke out at the townhome in Bristow, the 9000 block of Falcon Glen Court, just off Linton Hall Road in Bristow. Crews arrived on the scene to discover fire extending up the side of an end-row house. The fire was quickly extinguished.
A homeowner discovered the fire after hearing strange sounds emanating from where the fire had ignited; a trash can outside the house. No injuries were reported.
[Thursday, Jan. 4, 2024 at 4:14 p.m.] fire and rescue units were dispatched to the 4400 blk of Kentland Drive [in Dale City] for a reported house fire.
“They say Red Bull gives you wings…and you will need them to get by this single vehicle, no injury crash in the 2800 block of Poplar Road. The roadway is closed in both directions at the Fauquier County line. Please use an alternate route,” the sheriff’s office posted to Facebook.
Three people were displaced after a house fire in the Marumsco Acres section of Woodbridge.
“[Monday, December 18, 2023, at 9:44 a.m.], units were summoned to [14000 blk Fisher Ave.] for residents observing smoke and smelling something burning behind a dryer in the basement. Crews arrived and extinguished a small fire in the wall. The home sustained minimal damage. No injuries were reported. Three (3) adults were displaced. The Fire Marshal’s Office determined the fire was caused by an electrical failure,” reports the fire marshal.
Something is happening at the long-dormant Aquia Town Center site, though it’s not what residents have been promised.
The Stafford County Board of Supervisors unanimously condemned five acres of undeveloped land on the once-thriving shopping center for a new fire station.

Prince William County fire and rescue crews were called to the blaze in the 7900 block of Crescent Park Drive, near Routes 15 and 29, at 3:46 p.m.
Update Friday, Dec. 15, 2023 — “Building officials have determined the cause of the incident was carbon monoxide escaping from a broken furnace pipe in the basement. All homeowners are strongly encouraged to have their gas appliances regularly inspected by a trained professional.”
Original post — A total of 10 people were sickened by carbon monoxide poisoning in Woodbridge on Tuesday, December 12, 2023. Prince William County fire and rescue crews were called to the 2400 block of Neabsco Creek Court, just off Neabsco Road in Woodbridge, at 10:03 a.m. for a report of a gas leak and found the victims suffering various degrees of illness.
