Hillary Clinton posted to Twitter today, urging Democrats to organize and flip three seats in the House of Delegates.
The former First Lady reminded her followers that Democrats only need three seats to regain control of Virginia’s House of Delegates.
Prince William County Government: “County Executive Chris Shorter appointed Wade A. Hugh as Prince William County’s Deputy County Executive for Community Development. The Board of County Supervisors concurred with the County Executive’s decision to appoint Hugh, whose appointment is effective immediately.”
“As Deputy County Executive, Hugh will be responsible for overseeing the county’s development services agencies, which include Development Services, Economic Development, Parks, Recreation and Tourism, Planning, Public Works and Transportation, as well as the Office of Environmental Sustainability. He will also serve as the liaison to the Service Authority and Quantico Marine Corps Base.”
Residents of rural Sanders Lane in western Prince William County are moving forward with an effort to assemble and sell their properties to a data center developer.

Northern Virginia Transportation Commission: “The Commonwealth Transportation Board approved 13 projects that will provide nearly $48 million in funding for Arlington County, DASH, Fairfax Connector, Fairfax County, OmniRide, and Virginia Railway Express. The projects are part of the Northern Virginia Transportation Commission’s I-395/95 Commuter Choice program, which uses revenue from tolls to support efforts to reduce traffic congestion.”

Prince William County Schools E-News: “Prince William County Public Schools (PWCS) has appointed Greg Hood as associate superintendent for high schools, effective July 1. Hood will assume this role following the retirement of William Bixby.”
“As associate superintendent for high schools, Hood will provide support and direction to the 13 comprehensive PWCS high schools, as well as alternative and specialty schools, and athletics and activities, with a total enrollment of approximately 29,000 students. This position serves as a member of the executive cabinet.”
