Prince William police: “Murder Investigation – On October 16 at 1:27AM, officers responded to a residence located in the 5600 block of Shannon Ct in [Dale City] (22193) to investigate a domestic dispute. The investigation revealed the victim, a 51-year-old man, and his adult son, identified as the accused, were involved in a physical altercation. Police initially received a call regarding the accused destroying property inside the home and possibly being under the influence of an unknown narcotic. When officers arrived at the home, the accused was observed unclothed and actively assaulting another individual, later determined to be his father.”

“Officers challenged the accused, who initially ignored commands and continued to assault his father before briefly retreating further into the home. At one point, the accused reemerged and exited the residence, where he advanced toward officers in an agitated state and grabbed the vest of a K-9 officer.”


“The investigation revealed the driver of a 2005 Honda Civic was traveling northbound on Lake Jackson Dr at an apparent high rate of speed, when the driver lost control of the vehicle, left the roadway, and struck a tree. No other vehicles were involved in the crash. The driver, who was the only occupant in the vehicle, was pronounced dead on scene. Speed and impairment appear to be factors in the collision. Crash investigators are asking anyone who may have witnessed this incident to contact police.”

“Identified: The deceased driver of the 2005 Honda Civic was identified as a Tommy Alexys ALVARADO, 22, of Manassas.”

Prince William Police Department: Murder Investigation *VICTIM IDENTIFIED – Following the notification of a next-of-kin, police are announcing the identity of the victim killed in a stabbing that occurred at the Dale Forest Apartments located in the 14300 block of Wrangler Lane in [Dale City] on October 6. The victim, Jeremy David LEWIS, 43, of Dumfries, was fatally stabbed inside the apartment following an altercation with an acquaintance. The acquaintance was previously arrested following the incident.”

“Identified: The deceased was identified as Jeremy David LEWIS, 43, of Dumfries. Arrested on October 6: [Mugshot now Attached] Joi Camille STORR, 41, of 14329 Wrangler Lane, #12, in Woodbridge. Charged with murder and stabbing in the commission of a felony. Court Date: Pending | Bond: Held WITHOUT Bond.”


Prince William Police Department: Residential Burglary *ARREST – On September 29, the suspect sought in connection to the burglary that was reported to have occurred at a residence located in the 11600 block of Crystal Creek Lane in Manassas on September 26, was arrested. The accused, identified as Richard Steven STARK, was located and taken into custody by the Stafford County Sheriff’s Department. Arrested on September 29: [No Photo Available] Richard Steven STARK, 40, of 12021 Parkriver Drive in Manassas. Charged with burglary. Court Date: Pending | Bond: Unavailable.”

Residential Burglary [Previously Released] – On September 26 at 6:15 a.m., officers responded to a residence located in the 11600 block of Crystal Creek Lane in Manassas to investigate a burglary-in-progress. The investigation revealed an unknown man, later identified as the accused, parked his vehicle in the driveway of the residence before entering the home through the front door. While inside the home, residents confronted the accused, who then left the residence and drove out of the area. While investigating the incident, officers identified the accused as Richard Steven STARK, and obtained warrants for his arrest. Attempts to locate the accused have been unsuccessful.”


Children in Prince William County Public Schools and public schools statewide are using drugs and drinking alcohol earlier in life.

Prince William County Republican Committee Chairman Denny Daugherty resigned on Tuesday, October 2, 2023, after Prince William police charged his son with rape.

Daugherty led the committee since 2022. Vice Chairman Jacob Mosser is now chairman, said Virginia Republican Party Chairman Richard Anderson.
