Embrey Mill, an 831-acre community located off Interstate 95 in North Stafford, will host its sixth annual holiday race series, the Frosty 3-Miler and Reindeer Run, Saturday, December 10, 2022.
The start time is 9 a.m. Participants must be in the starting area by 8:50 a.m.Prizes will be awarded in each age group, including a cash prize for the top three male and female runners. The one-mile Reindeer Run is for children 12 and under.
The Greater Manassas Christmas Parade is 10 a.m. Saturday, December 3, 2022.
The two-hour event is one of the largest Christmas parades in the Washington area and is Northern Virginia’s largest. It features floats, balloons, bands, marching units, dance units, community groups, and more.
Santa Claus and Mrs. Claus will return to light the Manassas City Christmas Tree on the lawn of the Manassas Museum.
The event will begin at 5:15 p.m. with musical performances. Santa and Mrs. Claus will arrive shortly after 6 p.m. after Santa lights the tree, head over for Santa and Mrs. Claus to greet all of the children and listen to their holiday wishes.
Stafford County will hold its second-annual tree lighting on Friday, December 2, at 6 p.m.
A European-style Christmas market will accompany the event at the county courthouse, 1300 Courthouse Road in Stafford.
Manassas Park will light its Christmas tree on Friday, December 2, 2022.
The event will occur at 6 p.m. at the city’s community center at 99 Adams Street.
The series is hosted and executive produced by Dan Abrams, with retired Tulsa Police Department Sergeant Sean “Sticks” Larkin and Deputy Sheriff Curtis Wilson. Together, they provide minute-by-minute live analysis as the show documents for viewers in real time the everyday work of police officers on patrol from diverse departments across America.

As he does every year, Santa Claus will be coming to Occoquan this weekend by boat. Join us at 10:30 a.m. this Saturday, December 3, as Santa arrives at the town dock behind Mamie Davis Park.
From there, he will lead a procession up Mill Street to River Mill Park, where he will visit with families from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. If you cannot make it Saturday, Santa will be back in River Mill Park again on Sunday, December 4, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
