This Sunday is the last to vote early in the Special Election for Gainesville District Supervisor on the Prince William Board of County Supervisors.

The Dumfries Town Council has passed a resolution to establish a committee to plan a celebration in 2024 to mark the 275th anniversary of the town’s charter.
The resolution, which passed unanimously, marks a significant milestone in the history of Dumfries and signifies the council’s commitment to preserving and celebrating the town’s rich heritage.
The investigation revealed an unknown man entered the bank and passed a note to a teller demanding money. The suspect took an undisclosed amount of money before fleeing the bank on foot toward Route 1.
No weapon was seen, and no injuries were reported. A police K-9 and Fairfax County police helicopter searched the area for the suspect who was not located.

While Stafford County leaders were careful not to use the word “study” last fall, the Boar Board of Supervisors asked officials at the Fredericksburg Metropolitan Planning Organization to research sites for a new river crossing to bridge the gap between Stafford and Spotsylvania counties and Fredericksburg.
