The public’s assistance is needed once more to catch two individuals who have shoplifted and assaulted store staff twice.

On Wednesday, December 14, at 8:42 p.m. Deputy S.C. Jett responded to the Old Navy at 1250 Stafford Market Place for a report of a larceny. Two females entered the store and stole $1,000 worth of items. As the women were leaving, one pulled out a canister of pepper-sprayed and attacked a teenage staff member.

Sheriff’s deputies charged a tractor-trailer driver with DUI.

A deputy stopped the driver at 10:56 a.m. on Wednesday, December 15, near the Washington Square Walmart shopping center plaza. Police received reports of a tractor-trailer running off the road and driving unusually slowly.

According to a press release from the commonwealth attorney’s office, on Tuesday, December 14, 2022, a Prince William County jury found Glennard Kenny McFadden guilty of both charges following a three-day jury trial in the Circuit Court. A sentencing hearing for McFadden is scheduled for April 6, 2023.

On August 14, 2016, medics and officers from the Manassas Park Police Department were dispatched to a residence in Manassas Park. Police found a victim injured with two head lacerations, one being a significant laceration to her forehead, cut to the bone.
