Prince William County Police have made an arrest in connection with a fatal crash that occurred on April 15, 2024, near Yates Ford and Evans Ford roads near Manassas. The driver, identified as Jason Carter Lambeth, 46, of 6207 Sierra Ct near Manassas, was taken into custody on May 3.

According to authorities, the investigation revealed that Lambeth was operating a 1993 Buick Roadmaster at the time of the collision. Allegedly under the influence, Lambeth failed to yield the right-of-way to a Dodge Ram pickup as the vehicles entered the intersection, resulting in a tragic collision.

On April 27, crash investigators obtained arrest warrants for the driver of the truck who was involved in the fatal collision that occurred in the area of Richmond Hwy. and Pine Bluff Dr. in Dumfries (22026) on April 24. The investigation revealed the driver of the 2020 Chevrolet Colorado pickup truck, later identified as the accused, failed to yield the right of way to the motorcycle before entering the intersection where the vehicles collided. The resulting crash killed a 20-year-old Dumfries man.

Prince William County Police press release: On April 26 at 2:30 a.m., officers responded to the intersection of Redwing Drive and Swallow Court in Woodbridge to investigate a single vehicle crash.

The investigation revealed the driver of a 1985 Chevrolet Monte Carlo was traveling northbound on Redwing Drive approaching Swallow Court at a high rate of speed.

Police were called to a fatal hit-and-run incident on April 24 at 10:19 p.m., near Route 1 Pine Bluff Drive near Dumfries.

The crash involved a motorcycle. According to the Prince William police, the operator of a 2023 Kawasaki Ninja 400R was speeding southbound on Route 1 toward Pine Bluff Dr. Meanwhile, a 2020 Chevrolet Colorado pickup truck traveling northbound on Richmond Highway entered the intersection, crossing the motorcycle’s path.
