The Prince William County Planning Commission signed off on what would be the largest Chick-fil-A restaurant in Prince William County and one of the largest in the Mid-Atlantic.

The fast-food restaurant with a cult following wants to build a 5,000 square-foot store on nearly three acres of Route 1 and Pine Bluff Drive. For comparison, a Chick-fil-A at 2425 Prince William Parkway near Interstate 95 in Woodbridge sits on a little over an acre, while another company restaurant on Fettler Park Drive (about two miles from the newly proposed Chick-fil-A) is on one acre.
