Walker, USA (ret) as Advisor for Drug Demand Reduction Efforts and Education. General Walker served as a Special Agent of the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) for over 30 years and retired as a career member of the Senior Executive Service. General Walker concurrently served as a DEA Special Agent and U.S. Army Officer in the National Guard, where he served in a variety of staff and command positions from Platoon Leader to Commanding General.”
“By presidential appointment, General Walker served as the 23rd Commanding General of the District of Columbia National Guard. General Walker, a Military Intelligence Officer, held a variety of command and staff positions of increasing responsibility, including service with the NATO International Security Assistance Force – Afghanistan in support of Operation Enduring Freedom. Following his military retirement in 2021, he became the 38th Sergeant at Arms of the U.S. House of Representatives and was the first African American to hold the position since it was established in 1791.”
Stafford County Sheriff's Office: "DRUGS -Rappahannock Regional Jail, 1745 Richmond Highway, 7/6, 7:44 p.m. Deputy C.R. Newman responded to a failed secret pocket ruse. Jail staff advised a male brought in by the Spotsylvania Sheriff’s Office was discovered with suspected controlled substances tucked in his underwear. While the suspect confirmed the type of controlled substances, he advised he 'forgot' they were there. Deputy Newman didn’t forget to charge the suspect with felony by a prisoner. He continues to be held without bond."
"FRAUD - Augustine Golf Club, 76 Monument Drive, 7/6, 7:15 p.m. The victim received notification his debit card was fraudulently used in Dumfries. After receiving this news, he checked his vehicle only to discover his cards were in fact not there. Deputy B.E. Vaughn is investigating. Cambridge Street, 7/6, 7:30 p.m. The victim was going about her day when she discovered she did not have her debit card. After discovering this, she called her bank to discover there were fraudulent transactions. Deputy N.J. Amato is investigating."

Prince William police: “Attempted Malicious Wounding on a Law Enforcement Officer [LEO] – On July 1 at 2:17PM, officers responded to the 16700 block of Interstate Dr. in Dumfries (22026) for a report of a large party occurring in the area. As officers were investigating, they observed a woman, identified as the accused, who was actively wanted.”

“When officers attempted to make contact with the accused, she got into a vehicle and drove the vehicle towards the officers. The officers, and a nearby 37-year-old man, were able to quickly get out of the way to avoid being struck by the accused. As the accused fled the area, she struck multiple unoccupied parked vehicles before placing the vehicle in reverse and almost striking another officer. The accused fled the area at a high rate of speed. Following the investigation, officers obtained arrest warrants for the accused, identified as McKayla Nicole STRAIT. Attempts to locate the accused have been unsuccessful.”

The incident comes about a week after the driver of a stolen car ran over a Prince William County police officer who was trying to stop him, sending him to a hospital.
“The investigation revealed the accused was involved in a verbal altercation with an acquaintance, a 29-year-old woman, that escalated when the accused pulled the victim to the ground. At one point, the accused retrieved a knife and threatened the victim when other occupants in the home attempted to intervene. The accused then drove his vehicle into a parked vehicle outside of the residence as the victim and other occupants retreated to a bedroom in the home. The accused attempted to force entry into the room when police arrived on the scene. Minor injuries were reported by one of the other parties. While investigating the incident, officers determined the accused was wanted for his involvement in an unrelated malicious assault that occurred on Kilhaven Ct. in Manassas on June 25.”
