A familiar face at the Prince William County Government Center will seek a seat on the county school board.
Erica Tredinnick, 36, is seeking the Republican nomination endorsement in the Brentsville District for Prince William County School Board in the 2023 general election. Adele Jackson has held the seat since 2020 and received support from the Democrats.

The Prince William County Government removed an online survey asking employees about their gender identity, sexual orientation, and whether or not they feel valued at work after Supervisor Yesli Vega shared the survey with her constituents.
The 21-question survey (see it here) cost taxpayers $78,000, or about $3,700 per question, and was conducted by DiversityMBA/Learning Solutions, according to an email from Maria Burgos, the county’s equity and inclusion officer.
Burnside Farms will open again this spring for its annual tulip festival.
The 11008 Kettle Run Road farm in Nokesville plants more than 100 varieties of tulips and more than 30 daffodil varieties and allows the public to come and pick them from the ground.

Since this Board of County Supervisors took office in January, 2020, Ann Wheeler has marshaled her fellow Democrats on a determined path to open Prince William County to the data center industry with little due diligence to their impacts on the environment or the residents.
Ask yourself, is this why you chose to live in Prince William County?
Prince William County Potomac District Supervisor Andrea Bailey will hold a town hall to discuss the coal ash ponds and plans to cap them in a landfill near Dumfries.
The town hall will be held on March 30 at Potomac High School, 3401 Panther Pride Drive in Woodbridge.
The Prince William County Office of Historic Preservation opened its updated African American History Trail.
The ceremony is open to the public and will be held in the atrium of the James J. McCoart Administration Building at 1 County Complex Court, Woodbridge, Virginia.
Weir was elected to the Board of County Supervisors in a special election on Feb. 21, 2023. He will take the seat vacated by former Gainesville District Supervisor Peter Candland, who resigned in December 2022.

While I applaud your latest opinion piece about data centers, there was one aspect of it that I take issue with:
“We hear former Deputy County Executive Rebecca Horner has been sent back to the county planning department after several recent departures we told you about last week. She’s familiar with the planning office — she ran the place until she was promoted to deputy county executive in 2020. She may right the ship and create a plan because she’s one of the few people still around with institutional knowledge.”
