Just before 2 p.m. on Sunday, December 25, Stafford County Fire and Rescue units were dispatched for a reported structure fire in the 600 block of Ramoth Church Road, near the county’s regional airport.

Fire crews found a mobile home fully involved. Crews extended multiple lines and brought the fire under control in 10 minutes.

At 4:11 p.m. Friday, December 23, Prince William County fire and rescue crews were called to the 6000 block of Fox Den Court near for a house fire.

Crews arrived to find a working kitchen fire and the occupants safely out of the home.  The fire was quickly extinguished. The kitchen sustained moderate damage.

The 9-1-1 call came in about 2 p.m. today, December 23, 2022, for a driver in a BMW in the 15300 block of Fleetwood Drive in Nokesville, near the Fauquier County line, who became trapped in rising water.

According to initial information, the tow truck driver pulled the driver to safety when rescue crews arrived. The BMW driver was not injured.

A wanted man from Woodbridge will spend Christmas in jail after avoiding arrest for three years, police said.

On Wednesday, December 21, at 7:14 p.m. Stafford County Sheriff’s Deputy J.J. Suh responded to a hit call and ran at Kwik Mart on Onville Road in North Stafford.
