Flames broke out at a house on Lindendale Road in Dale City at 8:34 p.m.
Units were dispatched to the 13800 block of Lindendale Road (Dale City) for multiple calls reporting a home’s rear deck on fire. Crews arrived with fire showing and quickly spreading up the exterior into the upper floor and attic. The fire was quickly extinguished. No injuries were reported. The Building Official declared the structure unsafe to occupy. The Red Cross is assisting the 6 adults and 1 child displaced. It was determined the fire originated from a propane grill on the home’s rear deck.

The Manassas Park Community Center announced Tuesday, April 4, 2023, that the floor in its banquet hall is resurfaced.
The project officially started on Monday, April 3, 2023, and will be completed by Thursday, April 13, 2023. The process took 10 days.

(The Center Square) – Virginia lawmakers approved amendments proposed by Gov. Glenn Youngkin to a pair of bills establishing regulations on hemp-derived products in the commonwealth, which includes a provision allowing some products containing both THC and CBD that are used therapeutically to remain on store shelves.
Fire crews were called to the scene at 9 a.m. to find shooting front and side of the house.
The American Red Cross is assisting the victims.
Cat Johnson, a Stafford tattoo model, artist, and owner of Dark Horse Tattoos, at 395 Garrisonville Road, has competed for weeks to win Inked Magazine Covergirl 2023, along with 102,000 other tattooed models scattered across the country and worldwide.
Johnson, whose stage name is Cat Irezumi, has been in first during the previous six rounds and placed second in the semifinals.

For the parade, you are to decorate and design a raft, canoe, inflatable, dinghy, kayak, rowboat, or other non-motorized craft and take off in the first Occoquan Whatever Floats Your Boat Parade.
It will be a part of the Occoquan RiverFest & Craft Show on June 3 and 4, 2023. The activity invites the community to join in for its first year taking place.
