A Maryland man died in a car crash in Woodbridge.
On Monday, February 14 at 10:57 a.m., police went to the intersection of Route 1 and Wigglesworth Way, near Hendrick Honda, to investigate a multi-vehicle crash.
Crystal Vanuch added her name to a growing list of Republicans vying to represent Virginia’s new 7th Congressional District.
Vanuch has served on the Stafford County Board of Supervisors since 2020 and serves as the Chair both this year and last year.

In 1950, 27 students from Walker-Grant High School could not attend their graduation ceremony held at the Dorothy Hart Community Center, at 408 Canal Street in Downtown Fredericksburg.
Later, the city relented, saying they could attend their graduation but only if they promised not to use the front door while coming and going.

[Updated 10 a.m.] A Burke man is facing charges after an overnight barricade in Stafford County.
A man went into a home in the Garrison Woods Apartments off Onville Road in North Stafford about 11 p.m. Sunday, February 13. The man assaulted a woman, her daughter, and a dog, said a sheriff’s office spokesman.

[Updated] Police pulled a body from the Occoquan Reservoir.
The body is that of an unidentified woman, police said. There are no signs of foul play, they add.
