The Churches United Inaugural Convention will be held from Wednesday, July 27 to Friday, July 29, at the Harvest Life Church in Woodbridge. This free conference, hosted by Bishop Lyle Dukes and Pastor Deborah Dukes, brings together churches worldwide for praise, worship, impartation, and fellowship.

The move is an effort by the Board of Supervisors to help reduce crowding and parking issues at the park. Residents of Stafford and the City of Fredericksburg will park for free with a valid ID showing residence.
“This park is in a flood zone and was never meant to be a high-capacity destination venue. The water on that stretch of the river is also hazardous,” said the Chairman of the Board of Supervisors. “While this was a difficult decision, we think charging for parking will cut down on some of the crowding from visitors, not from Stafford or Fredericksburg, making it a safer experience for everyone.”
Upward of 60 signs at intersections along U.S. 1 naming the road Jefferson Davis Highway will be changed in the coming months to rename the road Richmond Highway in Prince William County.
Members of the Prince William Board of County Supervisors, other dignitaries, and county residents recently gathered in the parking lot at River Oaks Shopping Center for a renaming ceremony.
