A road rage incident involving shots fired and the ramming of two cars ended with one car disabled on Route 1.
Today, police report that on Friday, May 6, at 2:48 p.m., officers went to Route 1 and Dale Boulevard in Woodbridge investigate a shooting. The victim, a 47-year-old man, said he was involved in a road rage incident with the driver of a gray Honda Accord on Dale Boulevard, approaching Neabsco Mills Road.
The vigil will be at 7 p.m. at the Dr. A.J. Ferlazzo Building, at 15941 Donald Curtis Drive, across from the Woodbridge District police station.

The family of a Woodbridge man killed in a motocross crash earlier this month asks the community for help.
Marc Daniels, 51, of Woodbridge, died on Sunday, May 1, at Budds Creek Motocross Park in Mechanicsville, Md. Daniels was killed during a practice maneuver, reports Southern Maryland News Net.
The Open Space Art Gallery is now open in a space once occupied by South Moon Under, at 15000 Potomac Town Center Place near Wegmans. The Prince William Arts Council, in conjunction with the Prince William Art Society, is maintaining the space.
“Stonebridge and JBG Smith [owners of Stonebridge at Potomac Town Center] were happy to have Prince William County Arts Council utilize the space,” spokeswoman Anastasia Pordorski told Potomac Local News. “It had been sitting vacant since the prior tenant vacated in early 2020.”
A woman shot multiple times is expected to survive.
On Saturday, May 7, at 3:23 a.m., officers went to a home in the 15300 block of Watermill Terrace, just off Rippon Boulevard in Woodbridge, to investigate a shooting. They found a 50- year-old woman, outside of the home, suffering from gunshot wounds.
Police increased the reward for a suspect in a double shooting at a Prince William County school.
Investigators are still searching for Isaiah Malik Gordon, 23, of the 16000 block of Harwood Oaks Court in Woodbridge. He’s suspected of shooting two men, a 24-year-old and a 33-year-old, during a youth football game played on a field at Benton Middle School near Dale City on Sunday, May 1.
The crash occurred at about 4:50 p.m. at Hoadly Road and Galveston Court, near a Harris Teeter grocery store. One of the victims was taken to Sentara Northern Virginia Medical Center in Woodbridge, and the other UVA Prince William Medical Center in Manassas.
According to initial reports, the victims suffered serious injuries. What led to the crash is unknown.
A portion of Woodbridge sounded like a firing range this afternoon.
Just after 4 p.m., shots rang out at the Woodbridge Station Apartments near Fred M. Lynn Middle School. The shooting prompted a massive police response in the area and a lockdown of the middle school for about 30 minutes.
