“The investigation revealed the driver of a 2005 Honda Civic was traveling northbound on Lake Jackson Dr at an apparent high rate of speed, when the driver lost control of the vehicle, left the roadway, and struck a tree. No other vehicles were involved in the crash. The driver, who was the only occupant in the vehicle, was pronounced dead on scene. Speed and impairment appear to be factors in the collision. Crash investigators are asking anyone who may have witnessed this incident to contact police.”

“Identified: The deceased driver of the 2005 Honda Civic was identified as a Tommy Alexys ALVARADO, 22, of Manassas.”

Prince William Police Department: Murder Investigation *VICTIM IDENTIFIED – Following the notification of a next-of-kin, police are announcing the identity of the victim killed in a stabbing that occurred at the Dale Forest Apartments located in the 14300 block of Wrangler Lane in [Dale City] on October 6. The victim, Jeremy David LEWIS, 43, of Dumfries, was fatally stabbed inside the apartment following an altercation with an acquaintance. The acquaintance was previously arrested following the incident.”

“Identified: The deceased was identified as Jeremy David LEWIS, 43, of Dumfries. Arrested on October 6: [Mugshot now Attached] Joi Camille STORR, 41, of 14329 Wrangler Lane, #12, in Woodbridge. Residential Burglary – On September 26 at 6:15 a.m., officers responded to a residence located in the 11600 block of Crystal Creek Lane in Manassas to investigate a burglary-in-progress. The investigation revealed an unknown man, later identified as the accused, parked his vehicle in the driveway of the residence before entering the home through the front door. While inside the home, residents confronted the accused, who then left the residence and drove out of the area. While investigating the incident, officers identified the accused as Richard Steven STARK, and obtained warrants for his arrest. Attempts to locate the accused have been unsuccessful. Described as a white male, approximately 5’10, 160lbs., with short brown hair, blue eyes, and a full beard and mustache. Wanted for burglary.”

Prince William Police Department: Murder Investigation *ARREST – On September 27, the suspect sought in connection to shooting death of a 25-year-old man following an altercation that occurred at the Misty Ridge Apartments located in the 15000 block of Lost Canyon Court in Woodbridge on May 21, was arrested. The suspect and victim were involved in an argument in front of the complex when the victim was fatally shot during an exchange of gunfire. In June, the suspect was identified, and warrants were obtained for his arrest with a reward offered for information leading to his whereabouts and conviction. On September 27, the suspect, identified as Jeffrey Donelle HAMPTON, turned himself in to police without incident. Arrested on September 27: Jeffrey Donelle HAMPTON, 34, of the 13902 Roanoke Street in Woodbridge. Charged with 1 count of murder, 1 count of use of a firearm in commission of a felony, 1 count of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, and 2 counts of shooting into an occupied dwelling. Court Date: Pending | Bond: Held WITHOUT Bond. Identified: The deceased was identified as Michael Eugene HAWKINS, III, 25, of Woodbridge.”

Murder Investigation *REWARD INCREASED [Previously Released] – The Prince Wiliam County Police Department has increased the reward offered regarding the whereabouts of the suspect sought in connection to shooting death of a 25-year-old man following an altercation that occurred at the Misty Ridge Apartments located in the 15000 block of Lost Canyon Court in Woodbridge on May 21. The involved parties were in an argument when the victim fatally shot as gunfire was exchanged. In June, the suspect was identified as Jeffrey Donelle HAMPTON. Detectives obtained arrest warrants for the suspect and an initial reward amount was offered for information leading to his arrest and conviction. Further attempts and leads in locating the suspect have been unsuccessful. The Police Department are now offering an increased reward of up to $10,000 for information that leads to the arrest and conviction of this suspect. The investigation continues.”

Prince William Police Department: Strong-Arm Robbery *ARREST – On September 25, the suspect sought in connection to the robbery that was reported to have occurred near the 10500 block of Stonehouse Drive in Manassas on September 20, was arrested. The accused, identified as Leroy Diaz MOTEN, was located and taken into custody by Manassas City police. Arrested on September 25: [No Photo Available] Leroy Diaz MOTEN, 48, of No Fixed Address. Charged with robbery. Court Date: Pending | Bond: Unavailable.”

Strong-Arm Robbery [Previously Released] – On September 20 at 5:09 a.m., officers responded to the area near the 10500 block of Stonehouse Drive in Manassas to investigate a robbery. The investigation revealed the victim, a 38-year-old female, engaged in a verbal altercation with an acquaintance, identified as the accused. At some point, the altercation escalated when the accused grabbed the victim’s purse from her hand before fleeing the area. The victim reported minor injuries. Following the investigation, officers obtained arrest warrants for the accused, identified as Leroy Diaz MOTEN. Attempts to locate the accused have been unsuccessful.”

Prince William police: “Threats of Violence Investigation – On September 24, at 10:12 a.m., officers responded to Park Valley Church located at 4500 Waverly Farm Drive in Haymarket to investigate a possible threat of violence. The investigation revealed Fairfax County police contacted Prince William County police after their agency received information from police in Anne Arundel County, Maryland regarding a citizen residing in Laurel who reported recent suspicious and concerning online postings on Instagram from an individual later identified as the accused.”

“In the postings, vague threats of violence were made, some of which included images of a location later determined to be Park Valley Church in Haymarket (Prince William County). Through the swift investigation lead by Anne Arundel police, their officers were able to determine a potential residence for the accused in Falls Church and immediately contacted Fairfax County police concerning the postings.”

Prince William Police:Armed Robbery *ARREST | ADDITIONAL INCIDENT – On September 23 at 10:49 p.m., officers responded to the Burke & Herbert Bank located at 14008 Smoketown Road in Woodbridge to investigate an alarm activation. When officers arrived at the business, an individual, later identified as the accused, was observed inside the bank.

Additional officers and a police K-9 responded, and the accused was taken into custody without incident. The investigation revealed the suspect damaged the ATM to gain entry into the bank. Officers determined additional property inside the bank was damaged and no property was reported missing.

Press Release: Fatal Crash Investigation – On September 23 at 2:45 a.m., crash investigators responded to the 3500 block of Veronica Lane in Woodbridge to investigate a single-vehicle crash. The investigation revealed the driver of a 2014 Nissan Altima was traveling southbound on Smoketown Road at a high rate of speed when the driver lost control of the vehicle, crossed into the northbound lanes, and left the roadway before striking multiple trees and catching fire.”

“The driver of the vehicle was not wearing a seatbelt and was pronounced deceased at the scene. No additional vehicles were involved in the crash. Speed is a factor in the crash. The investigation continues.

Press Release: “Prince William County Commonwealth’s Attorney Amy Ashworth announces the successful prosecution of Cody Dale Davis arising from the February 2, 2021, aggravated malicious wounding of a Dumfries woman.”

“On April 7, 2023, after a three-day trial jury trial and subsequent 10-minute jury deliberation, Mr. Davis was convicted of one count of aggravated malicious wounding. On September 21, 2023, Mr. Davis was sentenced by Judge Willett of the Prince William County Circuit Court to life in prison. The matter was prosecuted by Senior Assistant Commonwealth’s Attorney Dircia D. Schubert and Deputy Chief of Staff Kevin L. Leahy.”

Prince William Police Department: Malicious Wounding *ARREST – On September 21, one of the suspects sought in connection to the shooting that was reported to have occurred at the Potomac Ridge Apartments located in the 2800 block of Woodmark Drive in Woodbridge on September 20, was arrested. The accused, identified as Haley Shron JACKSON, was taken into custody without incident. Two other suspects, identified as Emmanuel BOATENG and Gideon OWUSU Jr., are still being sought. Arrested on September 21: Haley Shron JACKSON, 36, of 2814 Woodmark Drive in Woodbridge. Charged with accessory after the fact. Court Date: Pending | Bond: Held WITHOUT Bond. Wanted: Emmanuel BOATENG, 34, of the 100 block of Executive Close in Stafford. Described as a black male, approximately 5’11, 200lbs., with black hair and brown eyes. Wanted for malicious wounding, and use of a firearm in commission of a felony.  Gideon OWUSU Jr., 29, of the 16800 block of Flotilla Way in Woodbridge. Described as a black male, approximately 5’11, 220lbs., with black hair and brown eyes. Wanted for accessory after the fact.”

Malicious Wounding [Previously Released] – On September 20 at 10:59 p.m., officers responded to the Potomac Ridge Apartments located in the 2800 block of Woodmark Drive in Woodbridge to investigate a shooting. The investigation revealed, the victim, a 26-year-old man, and two male acquaintances were involved in a verbal altercation inside an apartment which continued in the parking lot where one of the parties retrieved a firearm and fired multiple rounds which ricocheted and struck the victim to the lower body.
