A 10-month-old child died atfer her head was crushed by a moving car in a parking lot in Woodbridge. The incident is one of three fatal incidents on Prince William County streets police are investigating this past weekend.

A panel of addiction experts called on the community to pay closer attention to the rise of opioid addiction.
On Thursday, June 2, a drug addiction panel organized by a congressional candidate, Gina Ciarcia, met at Grace Baptist Church on Spriggs Road in Woodbridge. James “Chips” Stewart, who worked under Presidents Ronald Regan and George H.W. Bush as the head of the National Institute of Justice, lost his 47-year-old son to opioid addiction.
Police are on the scene of a bank robbery at an Apple Federal Credit Union.
Police said someone walked into the bank at 14229 Potomac Mills Road just before noon today, pulled out a gun, and demanded cash. The robber made off with an undisclosed amount of money.
