Prince William Police Department: Shooting into a Residential Dwelling – On November 14 at 11:54 p.m., officers responded to a residence located in the 14300 block of Hope Street in Woodbridge to investigate a shots fired call. The investigation revealed multiple shots were fired which struck the residence and the homeowner’s unoccupied vehicle. Officers located shell casings in the roadway. No injuries or additional property damage were reported.”

Residential Burglary – On November 14 at 5:11 p.m., officers responded to the Elevations One Apartments located in the 14300 block of Bellona Road in Woodbridge to investigate a burglary. The investigation revealed an unknown man entered the unsecured front door of an apartment and took a laptop before leaving. The suspect was described as a black male wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, green pants, and carrying a black/white backpack.”


Prince William police: “Murder Investigation *SUSPECT IDENTIFIED – On November 15, detectives identified a suspect involved in the fatal shooting that was reported to have occurred in the 3700 block of Wharf Ln. in Triangle (22172) on November 14.”

“While investigating the incident, detectives identified the suspect as Tyus James TERRELL, and obtained warrants for his arrest. While investigating the homicide, Prince William County detectives, with the assistance of the Spotsylvania County Sheriff’s Office, executed multiple search warrants in Spotsylvania County in connection to the ongoing investigation.”


Prince William County Government: “Recently, the Board of County Supervisors officially adopted the Community Energy and Sustainability Master Plan, or CESMP. This is a major step forward in accomplishing the county’s Climate Mitigation and Resiliency goals, which the Board endorsed in 2020.”


Military Times: “Yevgeny “Eugene” Vindman, one of the twin Army officers targeted by former President Donald Trump for their roles in his impeachment scandal, is launching a Democratic congressional bid that could put him on the same ballot as the former commander-in-chief.”

“From the 14th Street Bridge to the terminus near Route 17, Transurban will be conducting tests ahead of the planned opening of new access points at Russell Road and Courthouse Road in Stafford County, as well as the new Opitz Boulevard ramp that will replace the Dale Boulevard ramp in Prince William County.”

“More tests will be conducted on December 1-2, 2023, beginning at or about 10 p.m. and ending at or about 5 a.m. each instance.”


Prince William police: “The Crime Prevention Unit of the Prince William County Police Department hosts a Neighborhood Watch training on Thursday, Nov. 30, 2023, at 6 p.m. Participants will learn how to work with the Police Department to keep their neighborhoods safer.”
