Virginia State Police: “Virginia State Police is investigating a fatal crash in Prince William County. The crash occurred July 15, 2023, at 10:31 p.m. on Interstate 95 at the 149-mile marker (Dumfries). A 2022 Harley-Davidson motorcycle was traveling south on I-95 in heavy rain when it ran off the left side of the interstate. Its operator was thrown from the vehicle.”

“The motorcyclist, Ronald G. Giscombe Jr., 50, of Palm Bay, Fla., died at the scene. He was wearing a helmet. The crash remains under investigation.”

“The term ‘civility’ refers to using polite language in formal conversations and is closely related to courtesy and consideration. Unfortunately, it seems that civility has been lacking lately, not just in Prince William County, but throughout our nation,” Wheeler wrote.

Since Barack Obama decided to ‘fundamentally change’ the U.S., we have fallen into the abyss regarding civility on any topic. We are no longer able to discuss politics, race, schools, library books, bathrooms, the definition of the sexes, or God forbid, use correct pronouns as demanded by proper English.

Stafford County Sheriff’s Office: “Three suspects may be too young to remember Eddie Rabbit’s 1980 hit ‘I Love a Rainy Night,’ but they are certainly not loving the aftermath of a pursuit during a rainy night this weekend.”

“They could try to ‘Blame It on the Rain,’ but the driver’s poor decision-making led to his arrest at the conclusion of the chase. On July 15th at 9:30 p.m., Deputy C.R. Newman observed a southbound black Toyota Corolla traveling 53 mph in the posted 35 mph zone of the 2000 block of Richmond Highway.”


Prince William

“While handling the weapon, one of the acquaintances to the victim, identified as the accused, neglectfully discharged the handgun, firing a round and striking the victim in the chest. Responding officers provided first aid to the victim before being transported to an area hospital by fire and rescue personnel where the victim later died.”

“No additional injuries reported. A fourth man was also inside the residence at the time of the incident and was not involved. Following the investigation, the accused, identified as Daniel VILLALOBOS MARQUEZ, was arrested.”


Prince William

Gov. Glenn Youngkin will visit Manassas and Prince William County tomorrow, Tuesday, July 18, 2023.

Manassas Economic Development Department: “The City of Manassas and the Governor of Virginia will host a ribbon-cutting celebration for unmanned aircraft system designer and manufacturer RapidFlight. RapidFlight was located to the City last year and has recently completed extensive renovations to their facility at 9617 Center Street, where the company will create 119 new high-wage jobs over the next several years.”
