We’ve always been dedicated to showing the excellent work of our police, fire, and rescue crews. However, Facebook has decided it no longer wants these posts on its platform and is automatically removing them.
Facebook states that our posts about crime and arrests violate community standards.
Darius Lamont Chisley, 49, of Warrenton, was arrested and charged Thursday after a stabbing at the Rosemary Ridge Apartments in Manassas.
Chisley is accused of stabbing a 45-year-old man after a verbal altercation, a Prince William County Police Department release stated. He has been charged with aggravated malicious wounding and his court date is pending.
Police are searching for four people who broke into a home on Sterling Point Drive in Gainesville. Investigators have clear pictures of them, and they’re asking for your help to find the suspects described below.

Updated 4 p.m. — A fire in Dale City broke out at 12:40 p.m. today, Friday, July 5, displacing seven adults and three children.

The Fredericksburg City Council and the Fredericksburg Fire Department announced a public unveiling of a sign marking the location of the new Fire Station #3. The celebration will take place on Tuesday, July 9, 2024, at 4:30 p.m. at Snowden Park, and marks the start of construction on the new station.
The Fredericksburg Fire Department currently serves an area of 11 square miles with a population of approximately 25,700 people. The department operates two fire stations, staffing them 24/7/365 with two engine companies and one ladder/tower company. Additionally, the department operates two Advanced Life Support (ALS) ambulances 24/7/365, with all fire suppression personnel certified at the EMT level or higher. Mutual aid agreements are in place with Stafford and Spotsylvania counties.
