Tickets for the production are now on sale through the ARTfactory’s ticket link. The community theater’s rendition of the classic musical will feature local youth performers, continuing ARTfactory’s tradition of fostering arts education and live performance in Prince William County.
“Riverside Center was THRILLED to present The Sound of Music for 10 weeks,” Riverside Center for the Performing Arts announced. “12,000 people entered our doors and created memories to last a lifetime. Thank you for supporting Riverside. Thank you to our cast, crew, and staff. So long, farewell for now.”
Following the close of The Sound of Music, Riverside will welcome audiences back for its holiday production of White Christmas, continuing the theater’s tradition of bringing classic musical performances to the Fredericksburg region.
“Stafford offices, departments, facilities, and all courts will be closed on Tuesday, November 11, 2025, for Veterans Day,” Stafford County announced. “Both locations of the R-Board/Regional Landfill (Eskimo Hill and Belman Road) will be open on Veterans Day.”
The County confirmed that Fire and Rescue, the Sheriff’s Office, and the Magistrate’s Office will remain operational, along with all outdoor parks, which will be open from 8:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Essential services such as emergency response and law enforcement will continue uninterrupted during the holiday.
“As our Governor prepares to roll out a state of emergency plan, Manassas Social Services stands ready to assist residents through this period of uncertainty,” the City of Manassas announced. “The goal is to ensure that no family goes without food or basic needs.”
“The 42-member team is working closely with local partners to connect residents to immediate support,” the City added, noting that more than 850,000 Virginians could face interruptions in benefits starting November 1, 2025, if a federal budget resolution is not reached by October 28.
“All lanes of Route 1 in Stafford County have reopened at Acadia Street,” Virginia Department of Transportation – Fredericksburg District announced.
The reopening follows an earlier vehicle crash that brought down utility lines and closed the southbound lanes Monday. Traffic is now moving normally in both directions.
