Mohammad Bashir Kahn, 83, succumbed to his injuries on February 6. Firefighters pulled Khan from a burning home in the 4000 block of Montega Drive, near the Prince William County Government Center in Woodbridge, on February 1.

Rescue crews took Khan to Washington Hospital Center after he suffered severe burns.


A masked man robbed a couple at gunpoint in Woodbridge.

On Monday, February 7 at 12:48 a.m., officers responded to the 13900 block of Jefferson Davis Hwy in Woodbridge, across from Todos Supermarket in Marumsco Plaza, to investigate a robbery. A 28-year-old man told police that he and a woman were sitting in a vehicle in a parking lot when a masked man approached and brandished a firearm.

A 22-year-old man involved in an argument with the suspect and an innocent 32-year-old bystander was shot in while in the parking lot.
