Prince William Police Department: Malicious Wounding *ARREST – On November 12, the suspect sought in connection to the stabbing that was reported to have occurred at a residence located in the 10200 block of Farragut Court in Manassas on October 29, was arrested. The accused, identified as Maynor LEMUS AMAYA, turned himself in to police without incident. Arrested on November 12: Maynor LEMUS AMAYA, 28, of 10223 Farragut Court in Manassas. Charged with malicious wounding and assault & battery. Court Date: Pending | Bond: Held WITHOUT Bond.”

Malicious Wounding *SUSPECT IDENTIFIED [Previously Released] – On November 7, officers identified the suspect sought in connection to the stabbing that was reported to have occurred at a residence located in the 10200 block of Farragut Court in Manassas on October 29. Officers obtained arrest warrants for the suspect, identified as Maynor LEMUS AMAYA. Attempts to locate the accused have been unsuccessful.”


“The existing 95 Express Lanes are reversible and operate only in the direction of peak travel. This project will investigate the feasibility of adding additional capacity to a portion of the 95 Express Lanes, allowing counterflow express lanes in the off-peak direction. VDOT: “The Virginia Department of Transportation will shift Interstate 95 northbound traffic at the Rappahannock River into its final alignment this week, doubling northbound capacity in the Fredericksburg area.”

“After five years of construction in the Fredericksburg area to improve I-95, with a combined investment of $264 million to build the I-95 Northbound and Southbound Rappahannock River Crossings, there will be 12 interstate lanes spanning the river ahead of the Thanksgiving holiday.”


The Center Square: “Taxpayers are picking up more of the higher costs of transit in the U.S. since the pandemic, according to the latest data released by the Federal Transit Administration.”

“Total operating expenses of all transit agencies have increased from $50.7 billion in 2019 to $53.7 billion in 2022, according to the FTA data. At the same time, passenger-paid fares plummeted during that time span, dropping from $15.3 billion in fare revenue in 2019 to $8.3 billion in 2022, a nearly 50% drop.”

Stafford County Sheriff: “A juvenile is being held at the Juvenile Detention Center after taking a family member’s vehicle for a joyride that ended with a pursuit.”

“On November 10th at approximately 11:36 p.m. Deputy D.S. Jett was traveling on Cambridge Street when he observed a vehicle traveling 63 MPH in a 35 MPH zone. Deputy Jett turned on his emergency equipment and almost immediately after, the suspect vehicle began to accelerate.”


VDOT: “The Virginia Department of Transportation is warning travelers to expect major delays on Interstate 95 northbound in the Fredericksburg area with a work zone to reopen the original northbound Rappahannock River Bridge starting tomorrow, Nov. 14 through early Thursday, Nov. 16.”

“Starting at 8 p.m. tomorrow, the two-night operation will begin with lane and ramp closures to shift all I-95 northbound traffic into its final alignment between exit 130 (Route 3) in Fredericksburg and exit 133 (Route 17) in Stafford County.”
