HOA Roundtable of Northern Virginia: “The HOA Roundtable of Northern Virginia, based in Prince William County, is a non-partisan coalition of HOAs, Civic Associations, and independent homeowners who represent more than 150,000 households across the region.”

“Every seat on the Prince William Board of County Supervisors is on the ballot in the November election. Those elected will seal the future of the county.”

Updated Wednesday, October 18: “The off-ramp from Interstate 95 southbound to exit 133 (Falmouth/Warrenton) at Route 17 and Route 17 Business in Stafford County will remain open the remainder of this week. Overnight ramp closures scheduled for Oct. 18-20 at this location have been canceled.”

Original post from VDOT: “The Interstate 95 southbound off-ramps to Route 17 at the exit 133 interchange in Stafford County will close overnight this week for work with the 95 Express Lanes Fredericksburg Extension project.”


Prince William

Prince William police: “Murder Investigation – On October 16 at 1:27AM, officers responded to a residence located in the 5600 block of Shannon Ct in [Dale City] (22193) to investigate a domestic dispute. The investigation revealed the victim, a 51-year-old man, and his adult son, identified as the accused, were involved in a physical altercation. Police initially received a call regarding the accused destroying property inside the home and possibly being under the influence of an unknown narcotic. When officers arrived at the home, the accused was observed unclothed and actively assaulting another individual, later determined to be his father.”

“Officers challenged the accused, who initially ignored commands and continued to assault his father before briefly retreating further into the home. At one point, the accused reemerged and exited the residence, where he advanced toward officers in an agitated state and grabbed the vest of a K-9 officer.”


Prince William

“The investigation revealed the driver of a 2005 Honda Civic was traveling northbound on Lake Jackson Dr at an apparent high rate of speed, when the driver lost control of the vehicle, left the roadway, and struck a tree. No other vehicles were involved in the crash. The driver, who was the only occupant in the vehicle, was pronounced dead on scene. Speed and impairment appear to be factors in the collision. Crash investigators are asking anyone who may have witnessed this incident to contact police.”

“Identified: The deceased driver of the 2005 Honda Civic was identified as a Tommy Alexys ALVARADO, 22, of Manassas.”

Stafford Sheriff’s office: “The suspect from the Rappahannock Landing subdivision shooting is currently in the Stafford County Sheriff’s Office’s custody.”

“On October 11th, at approximately 2:45 p.m. deputies responded to the 200 block of Streamview Drive in the Rappahannock Landing subdivision for multiple calls of shots fired. When deputies arrived, they located a 42-year-old Stafford man Derrick Campbell with multiple gunshot wounds. He unfortunately succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased at the scene.”

Virginia State Police: “Virginia State Police is investigating a crash involving a train in Stafford County. The crash occurred Sunday (Oct. 1), at 8:30 p.m. at the intersection of Route 658 (Brent Point Rd) and Route 633 (Arkendale Rd).”

“A 2020 Toyota RAV4 was traveling east on Route 658 when it inadvertently turned onto a private section of train tracks. As the Toyota attempted to turn around and exit the tracks it was struck by a southbound Amtrak train. The railroad crossing arms descended as the Toyota attempted to exit the tracks.”


Prince William

Prince William County Republican Committee Chairman Denny Daugherty resigned on Tuesday, October 2, 2023, after Prince William police charged his son with rape.

Daugherty led the committee since 2022. Vice Chairman Jacob Mosser is now chairman, said Virginia Republican Party Chairman Richard Anderson.
