NORTH STAFFORD, Va. — Sears is shutting its doors in Stafford.
The retailer will close its Home Appliance Showroom in the Stafford Marketplace. No closing date has been announced, according to a floor salesperson.
All merchandise has been marked down and is being sold “as is.” The store will also no longer accept returns, checks, make home deliveries, and mandates that all sales of goods sold in the store are final.
A spokesman for Sears Holdings, Inc. told PotomacLocal.com that Sears Hometown Stores are no longer owned by Sears Inc.
No further comment was made available about the store closing. We’ll post more when we have it.
This Sears Hometown Store is one of several across the state. They are smaller shops that differ from Sears’ larger retail outlets found inside shopping malls, including Manassas Mall.
