A 17-year-old male has been arrested in connection with two robberies in the 14800 block of Winding Loop in Woodbridge.
- The first incident took place on December 25, 2024, when the suspect allegedly brandished a firearm and stole a jacket from the victim.
- The second robbery occurred on February 18, 2025, when a 14-year-old male was approached, and a struggle ensued before the suspect fled with his jacket.

Manassas Man Charged with Assaulting Police Officer
A 27-year-old Alexandria man was arrested after assaulting police officers during an altercation on Prince William Parkway near Marblestone Drive on March 10 at 2:17 PM.
- Officers responded to a brandishing incident when the suspect, Joshua Justin Berry, became combative.
- Berry kicked multiple officers and damaged a police vehicle while being transported.

Two Charged in $130,000 Fraud
Police arrested Darien Deventon Smith, 31, and Sheniece Elaine Smith, 32, of Bridgeport, CT, for running a money scam that defrauded a 77-year-old Woodbridge woman out of over $130,000.
- The scammers convinced the victim she had won a large sum of money and a vehicle and pressured her to pay fees to claim the prize.
- Over several months, they coerced her into opening bank accounts and purchasing money orders.
- The suspects were arrested in Bridgeport, CT, on February 28 and charged with obtaining money by false pretenses and conspiracy to commit a felony.

- Surveillance footage captured a light-colored, mid-2000s Chevy Colorado at the school.

Edison Lane, Stafford (March 9, 12:16 a.m.) â First responders arrived at a home for a reported overdose and found an unresponsive man. While treating him, four additional people overdosed and required immediate care. All five were transported to the hospital and are expected to recover. A partygoer allegedly brought a controlled substance, which some guests consumed. Anne Pates, 36, was arrested for possession of a controlled substance and is being held without bond. The investigation is ongoing.
Fugitive Found
Richmond Highway, Stafford (March 8, 9:30 p.m.) â Rafie Bell, 45, of Woodbridge, was arrested after barricading himself inside a camper. Deputies surrounded the area and, after nearly an hour, Bell surrendered. He was wanted for failure to appear in Stafford County and now faces additional charges of firearm and drug possession. He is being held without bond.

Wawa, Butler Road, Stafford (March 8, 3:31 a.m.) â Deputies responded to an assault in progress where a man, identified as Savonte Hawthorne, 28, was reportedly destroying store property and grabbed an employee around the neck. When officers arrived, he attempted to enter a Sheriffâs Office vehicle and was immediately detained. He faces charges of strangulation, assault and battery, disorderly conduct, and public intoxication.

Prince William County police crash investigators responded to the incident at 5:46 a.m. on March 7 near Old Stage Road in Dumfries (22025). Their investigation revealed that the victim, identified as Jack Leo Burdette Jr., was walking back across Dumfries Road after securing the dog when he was hit by a westbound 2022 Ram ProMaster van approaching Old Stage Road.
At the time of the crash, Burdette was wearing dark clothing and was walking in an unlit section of the roadway, outside of a designated crosswalk, police said.
An officer and a Good Samaritan administered first aid at the scene before Burdette was transported to an area hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries.
The dog, a two-year-old mixed Dalmatian/Pointer, was found and treated for injuries before being released to its owner.
The driver of the van, a 45-year-old Woodbridge man, remained at the scene. Authorities have not announced any charges at this time.
Crash investigators are urging anyone who may have witnessed the accident to contact Prince William police.

Update: Malvern Lakes Shooting
Investigators have provided an update on the recent shooting in Malvern Lakes. The Stafford County Sheriff’s Office confirmed the victim was a 21-year-old male who suffered non-life-threatening injuries. No further details have been released at this time.
The incident occurred on February 22, 2025, when deputies responded to Malvern Lakes Circle after receiving reports of a shooting. Authorities warned residents about a significant police presence in the area but did not immediately provide information about the circumstances surrounding the shooting. The Sheriff’s Office has remained tight-lipped about possible suspects or the motive behind the incident.
High-Speed Pursuit Ends in Arrest
A high-speed chase through Stafford County ended in a crash and foot pursuit on Monday morning.
At 11:39 a.m., deputies attempted a traffic stop on a wanted suspect in the 200 block of Garrisonville Road. The suspect fled eastbound at a high rate of speed, leading deputies on a pursuit. Officers used a PIT maneuver in an attempt to stop the vehicle, but the suspect jumped the median, causing a crash near Stafford Marketplace.
The suspect then fled on foot, but a Spotsylvania County sheriff’s detective tackled and detained him in the shopping center. Authorities confirmed that the suspect was already wanted in Stafford, Spotsylvania, and Fairfax counties for probation violations. No injuries were reported in the crash.

Rappahannock Regional Jail, 1745 Richmond Highway (2/28, 9:37 p.m.) â An inmate knocked a coffee cup out of anotherâs hand, leading to a fight. The aggressor was taken to the hospital with minor injuries and charged with assault and battery.
Wendyâs, 145 Garrisonville Road (3/1, 1:32 p.m.) â A customer threw food at staff in a drive-thru altercation. The suspect was charged with assault and battery and released on personal recognizance.
Rappahannock Regional Jail (3/1, 12:14 p.m.) â Another inmate-on-inmate assault occurred after lunch. The victim was hospitalized with minor injuries. The aggressor was charged with assault and battery.
DUI Rollover Crash
A 40-year-old Stafford man had to be extricated from his vehicle after a severe rollover crash early Friday morning.
At 12:28 a.m. on February 28, deputies responded to Ferry Road and Braddock Drive for a single-vehicle accident. Witnesses reported that a Lexus had flipped over and landed in a ditch. Upon arrival, Deputy S.A. Fulford discovered the vehicle facing the wrong direction with a large debris field marking its path off the roadway.
Bystanders attempted to free the driver but were unsuccessful due to the extent of the damage. Fire and Rescue personnel had to cut off the passenger door to extract him safely. While assisting the driver, Deputy Fulford noted several signs of intoxication, and the driver admitted to drinking “a good amount” of alcohol. Among the crash debris, deputies recovered a bottle of vodka.
Investigators determined that the driver was not wearing a seatbelt and had an expired inspection sticker. The crash also caused approximately $1,000 in property damage. Due to his injuries, the driver was taken to a nearby hospital.

I-95 Northbound, Mile Marker 143 (2/28, 11:34 p.m.) â A driver struck multiple EZ-Pass barriers and a guardrail before stopping. Witnesses said he was âall over the roadâ before the crash. The driver admitted to drinking half a bottle of bourbon and was charged with DUI and reckless driving, held on a $5,000 bond.
Mine Road (2/28, 11:54 p.m.) â A 16-year-old driver without a license was stopped for driving with no taillights. The deputy detected a strong marijuana odor. The juvenile was charged with DUI and driving without a license and was released to a guardian.
Morton Road (3/1, 1:07 p.m.) â A driver crashed into a mailbox and got stuck in a ditch before fleeing. A witness followed him, leading deputies to make an arrest. The driver had a previous DUI in December and showed clear signs of intoxication. Charged with DUI, refusal, and hit-and-run, he was held without bond.

Malicious Wounding â Arrest
On February 27, police arrested Dorrell Montea Farmer, 25, of Triangle, in connection with an assault on February 26 in the 16600 block of River Ridge Blvd. in Woodbridge. The incident involved a tow operator attempting to repossess a vehicle when Farmer attacked, striking and biting the operator, police said. Later that day, Farmer confronted the operator again in the 13600 block of Richmond Hwy. and struck him in the face, breaking his glasses. The victim sustained non-life-threatening injuries. Farmer has been charged with malicious wounding, two counts of assault & battery, and destruction of property.
Aggravated Malicious Wounding â Suspect Wanted
On February 27 at approximately 2:02 AM, police responded to Linden Park Apartments in Triangle for an assault. A 23-year-old woman was reportedly attacked inside a vehicle by Cecilia Anne Keefer, 34, of Triangle, following a verbal altercation. Keefer struck the victim multiple times before hitting her with the vehicle and driving off, police said. The victim was treated for non-life-threatening injuries. Keefer is wanted for aggravated malicious wounding, felony hit & run, and assault & battery.
Assault & Battery on Law Enforcement Officer â Arrest
On February 27 at 3:25 PM, officers responded to a report of an intoxicated individual in the 2600 block of Prince William Pkwy in Woodbridge. When officers attempted to detain Angela Kathleen Klosek, 49, of Glendale, Md., she resisted and scratched an officer, police said. She was taken to a hospital for treatment before being transported to the Adult Detention Center. Klosek is charged with assault & battery on a law enforcement officer, obstruction of justice, and disorderly conduct.

Olde Forge Mobbing â Three charged with assault
Three individuals were arrested after escalating a verbal dispute into a physical altercation on Olde Forge Drive.
On February 26 at 7:12 PM, Deputies C.R. Newman and C.M. Sterne responded to a disturbance in the area. Callers reported that an argument had turned “kind of physical,” police said.
Upon arrival, deputies received conflicting accounts of the incident. The female involved alleged that her now ex-boyfriend attempted to pull her into his vehicle forcibly. However, she had no visible signs of assault, and inconsistencies arose in her statement, police said.
The male, however, stated that the argument turned physical when his ex-girlfriend assaulted him. She allegedly refused to exit his vehicle as he tried to separate himself. At that moment, her two brothers reportedly approached aggressively and attacked him, police said. The male victim sustained minor injuries and later found that multiple personal itemsâincluding the keys to his Dodge Chargerâhad been taken from his vehicle, police said.
A neutral witness corroborated the male victim’s account. As a result, deputies determined that the female and her two brothers were the primary aggressors.

Disturbance â False 911 Call Leads to Warrant
On February 27 at 5:15 AM, Sergeant R.S. Dominguez responded to White Pine Circle for a disturbance. The caller provided vague statements about an alleged assault but later admitted no emergency had occurred. Since this was a repeated false report, a warrant for misuse of 911 was obtained.
Larceny â Package Theft
On February 27 at 2:26 PM, Deputy R.L. Beasley responded to a residence on Hunter Trail for a reported theft. The victim stated that pet medication was stolen from an opened package. This was the third time the victim had experienced such a theft.
Larceny â Shed Break-In
On February 27 at 4:04 PM, Deputy C.M. Sterne responded to the Gulf gas station at 372 Warrenton Road regarding a larceny. A contractor reported that a shed on the property had been unlawfully entered and damaged, with various items stolen.
Vandalism â Attempted Vehicle Theft
On February 27 at 9:58 PM, Deputy B.E. Vaughn responded to Pinnacle Drive for a vandalism report. The caller reported that a vehicle appeared to have been tampered with. Manassas Man Arrested After High-Speed Pursuit
Interstate 66 & Leeds Manor Road, Fauquier County â February 25, 2:15 p.m.
A Manassas man is in custody facing multiple charges after leading law enforcement on a high-speed pursuit that reached speeds of 100 miles per hour.
The Blue Ridge Gang and Drug Task Force arrested Devante R. Payne, 31, on charges including eluding law enforcement, abduction, possession of Schedule I/II narcotics, driving revoked, and reckless driving. Payne was also wanted in Prince William County for two felony probation violations.
Task force officers attempted to stop Payneâs Mitsubishi SUV for improper registration while traveling west on Interstate 66 in Fauquier County. The driver refused to stop, initiating a police pursuit that continued north onto Leeds Manor Road. Payne eventually stopped the vehicle and fled on foot, but was quickly apprehended after officers established a perimeter.
An adult female passenger was in the vehicle during the pursuit. Payne refused to let her exit the car, but she was unharmed and released without charges.
Payne was transported to the Fauquier Adult Detention Center, where he is being held without bond.
Multiple law enforcement agencies assisted in the arrest, including the Prince William County Police Department, Warren County Sheriffâs Office, Manassas Park Police Department, Stafford County Sheriffâs Office, Town of Leesburg Police Department, and Fairfax County Police Department.

Menacing Motorcyclist Arrested After High-Speed Chase
Warrenton Road â February 25, 3:25 p.m.
A 30-year-old Stafford man was arrested after leading police on a high-speed pursuit while carrying multiple weapons and suspected methamphetamine.
Deputy G.P. McCaulley observed a motorcycle traveling at 88 miles per hour in a 55-mile-per-hour zone and attempted a traffic stop. The motorcyclist refused to pull over, weaving through traffic. Due to safety concerns, the pursuit was terminated, but First Sergeant J.J. Kreider later located the suspect hiding in the Geico parking lot.
The suspect, identified as Michael Rock, was detained without incident. A firearm, two knives, a hatchet, and suspected methamphetamine were recovered. Authorities also determined Rock had no motorcycle endorsement, expired registration (10 years), and no vehicle inspection.
Rock was charged with felony eluding law enforcement, reckless driving, carrying a concealed weapon, possession of controlled substances, possession of a firearm while in possession of controlled substances, driving without a motorcycle endorsement, expired vehicle registration, and failure to obtain a vehicle inspection.
Rock is being held at Rappahannock Regional Jail on a $3,500 secured bond.

A reckless SUV driver fled the scene after striking another vehicle. The victim recorded the license plate number, and an investigation is ongoing.
Fraud at Stafford County Treasury Office

A male suspect attempted to pay his tax bill with counterfeit cash at the Stafford County Treasury Office. The fake $100 bill was confiscated, and an investigation is ongoing.
Shoplifting at Walmart
217 Garrisonville Road â February 26, 3:38 p.m.
A female suspect was caught skip-scanning items at Walmart, including a Red Bull she drank before paying. She was stopped by Deputy S.M. Kotter and issued a summons for shoplifting.

Felony Hit and Run Suspect Arrested in Georgia
Admiral Drive, Woodbridge â February 27
A suspect wanted in connection to a felony hit and run in Woodbridge on February 2 has been arrested in Georgia.
On February 2, officers attempted to stop a stolen vehicle in the 1400 block of Admiral Drive. The driver reversed into a police vehicle before fleeing the scene. Two juvenile females ran from the car and were later detained by Occoquan police before being released to known parties.
Following an investigation, police identified the suspect as Timothy Damon Rutherford, 18, of no fixed address. Rutherford is charged with felony hit and run, grand larceny, obstruction of justice, and contributing to the delinquency of a minor. He remains in custody in Georgia awaiting extradition to Prince William County.
Malicious Wounding in Woodbridge
River Ridge Boulevard â February 26, 10:39 a.m.
A tow truck driver was bitten and struck while attempting to repossess a vehicle. Later that morning, the suspect attacked the victim again in the 13600 block of Richmond Highway, breaking his glasses.
The suspect, identified as Dorell Montea Farmer, 25, of Triangle, is wanted for malicious wounding, assault and battery (two counts), and destruction of property.
Armed Robbery at Manassas Apartment Complex
Coverstone 4 Apartments, Mangione Court â February 26, 8:20 p.m.
A 15-year-old boy was robbed at gunpoint while attempting to sell a Sp5der sweatshirt through Instagram.
The suspects were described as two Hispanic men, both approximately 20 years old, and a Hispanic woman. One of the male suspects was about six feet one inch tall, wearing a black bomber-style jacket and carrying a firearm.
Armed Robbery of Teen in Manassas
Community Drive â February 26, 3:39 p.m.
A 16-year-old boy was robbed at gunpoint by a masked suspect who stole his Balenciaga shoes before fleeing. The suspect was described as a Hispanic male, approximately five feet five inches tall, wearing all-black clothing.
Woodbridge High School Student Arrested for Robbery
Woodbridge High School, Old Bridge Road â February 13
A 17-year-old student was arrested for assaulting and robbing a 14-year-old student inside a school restroom. The suspect has been charged with robbery and is being held at the Juvenile Detention Center.
Domestic Malicious Wounding Arrest in Manassas

A man has been arrested for a domestic assault that occurred in 2022. The suspect, Gustavo Terrazas Escobar, 31, was taken into custody in Fairfax County on February 26 and charged with malicious wounding.

At 11:30 PM on February 25, officers responded to a robbery at CVS (16712 Richmond Highway, Dumfries). An unknown male suspect brandished a firearm and demanded money from employees at the service counter before fleeing with an undisclosed amount of cash. A police K-9 unit searched the area, but the suspect was not located.

Possession with Intent to Distribute (Hylton High School)
On February 19 at 12:06 PM, a School Resource Officer (SRO) at Hylton High School in Woodbridge was alerted about two students distributing candy bars laced with psilocybin mushrooms. The investigation revealed that on February 14, a 17-year-old female and a 17-year-old male sold the drug-laced candy bars to another student. A parent discovered the bars and contacted authorities.
Both students were charged with possession with intent to distribute a controlled substance.
Shooting into a Residential Dwelling
On February 24 at 10:56 PM, officers responded to Point Pleasant Lane in Dumfries for a shots fired call. Multiple rounds struck the rear of a home, but no injuries or additional property damage were reported. Officers recovered shell casings near the backyard fence.
Reckless Handling of a Firearm
At 10:44 PM on February 24, officers were dispatched to Wetherburn Court in Woodbridge for a shots fired call. The suspect, 70-year-old James Broadax, fired multiple rounds into the air after a dispute with a neighbor. Officers found Broadax intoxicated in the parking lot.

Larceny (Vehicle Break-In at Pratt Park)
At 1:49 PM on February 25, Deputy A.E. Epps responded to Pratt Park (120 River Road) for a vehicle break-in. The victim was having lunch with a friend when the window of a Lexus was smashed and their purse was stolen.
Shoplifting at Weis Market
At 3:57 PM, First Sergeant W.T. Johnson and Deputy A.J. Charoenthep responded to a larceny at Weis Market (282 Deacon Road). A male suspect stole cold medicine, then attempted to steal more items before deputies arrived.
The suspect tried to flee but was quickly apprehended. Upon arrest, he was found intoxicated and in possession of the stolen goods.

At 9:23 PM, Deputy C.A. Osborne responded to Country Inn & Suites (656 Warrenton Road) for a disturbance. A female suspect was acting erratically in the lobby and refused to leave. When Deputy Osborne attempted to detain her, she resistedâand a firearm fell from her waistband.

Breaking & Entering (Vape Store Burglary Arrest)
On February 25, a Stafford County deputy arrested a 16-year-old male caught breaking into a vape store. The juvenile was apprehended, and charges are pending.
Speedy Sunday Leads to Speedy Arrest

A wanted Fredericksburg man quickly realized the jig was up when a First Sergeant caught him speeding Sunday night.
On February 23 at approximately 7:10 PM, First Sergeant A.I. Assur was patrolling the South end of Stafford County when he spotted a Jeep Cherokee traveling 54 MPH in a 35 MPH zone on Butler Road. Attempting a traffic stop, he discovered that the registered owner was wanted on two felony warrants. Deputy I.E. Baldi was called in to assist.
The Jeep pulled over at Sunoco (201 Emancipation Highway). The driver got out of the vehicle and surrendered by lying on the ground, police said.
Due to the serious nature of his charges, a K-9 unit was called in to conduct an open-air sniff around the vehicle. When the K-9 alerted, deputies conducted a probable cause search, which revealed a white crystalline substance inside the vehicle, police said.
The suspect claimed the substance was drywall, but deputies were confident it wasn’t part of a home improvement project, police said.
Police said 33-year-old Jeffery Roles is charged with possession of a controlled substance, and outstanding felony warrants were served. Roles was booked at Rappahannock Regional Jail without bond.

On February 24 at 10:44 p.m., officers responded to a shots-fired call and determined that James BROADAX, 70, fired multiple rounds into the air following a brief interaction with a neighbor. The accused was located in a parking lot, found to be intoxicated, and detained without incident. No injuries or property damage were reported.

Goodwill (39 Town and Country Drive) â On February 23 at 9:01 a.m., deputies responded to a burglary at Goodwill. Staff reported that suspects forcefully entered the business and stole a safe. Surveillance footage captured three suspects breaking in at approximately 1:43 a.m. The investigation is ongoing.
Moon Star (201 Kings Highway) â On February 23 at 12:10 p.m., deputies responded to a burglary at the Moon Star restaurant. Cash and approximately $300 worth of shrimp were stolen. The investigation continues.
DUI Arrests
Warrenton Road (700 block) | February 21, 4:21 p.m. â A reckless driver was reported in a Nissan Pathfinder. The driver nearly crashed multiple times before being involved in an accident. Deputies found suspected controlled substances in the vehicle. The driver was arrested for DUI and two counts of drug possession.
Richmond Highway & Kings Crest Drive | February 23, 12:53 a.m. â A driver was caught speeding 75 mph in a 45 mph zone. During the traffic stop, the suspect displayed signs of intoxication and had a nearly empty bottle of Bacardi. He was arrested for DUI with a BAC between .15 and .2.
Garrisonville Road & Mine Road | February 23, 1:23 a.m. â A driver rear-ended another vehicle at a red light. The suspect admitted to consuming a vodka-cranberry and was arrested for DUI.
I-95 Southbound (Mile Marker 139) | February 23, 1:56 a.m. â Deputies stopped a swerving Acura after reports of erratic driving. The driver admitted to having mimosas at a Galentineâs party and was arrested for DUI.
I-95 Southbound (Mile Marker 135) | February 23, 3:07 a.m. â An off-duty officer reported a reckless driver in a Honda. Deputies stopped the vehicle and arrested the driver for DUI.

Walmart (11 Village Parkway) | February 23, 6:11 p.m. â A male suspect stole over $45 worth of items and fled in a red Dodge Charger. Deputies later located the vehicle and arrested the suspect for shoplifting.
Wawa (920 Wonder Road) | February 23, 9:57 p.m. â A male suspect loaded over $60 worth of items into a bag and refused to pay, stating, “I get what I want,” before leaving in a Honda Civic.
Aldi (1030 Warrenton Road) | February 24, 3:45 p.m. â A female suspect wearing a fur jacket stole nearly $90 worth of items. Deputies arrived as she was smoking a cigarette outside the store. She was issued a summons for shoplifting.
Public Intoxication
John Jay Road | February 21, 9:38 p.m. â A female suspect was found screaming and banging on doors. Deputies discovered she was intoxicated and had a glass pipe with suspected controlled substances. She also had an outstanding warrant from Prince William County. She was arrested for public intoxication and drug possession and served on her warrant.
Vandalism
Backridge Court | February 23, 7:38 a.m. â A man visiting his girlfriend found his truck had been keyed. Doorbell footage revealed the suspect was the girlfriendâs ex-boyfriend. The suspect admitted he was too drunk to remember the incident. He was arrested for destruction of property and held until sober.

Felony Hit & Run Investigation

On February 2 at 9:00 PM, officers in the 1400 block of Admiral Dr. in Woodbridge attempted to make contact with the occupants of a stolen vehicle. The driver, later identified as Timothy Damon RUTHERFORD, reversed and struck an occupied police vehicle before fleeing. No injuries were reported. Two female juveniles fled the scene but were later detained and released to their guardians. Rutherford remains wanted for multiple charges, including felony hit & run, grand larceny, and obstruction of justice.
Reckless Handling of a Firearm
On February 24 at 12:38 AM, police responded to Oakwood Dr. near Dulcinea Pl. in Woodbridge after reports of gunfire. Investigators determined that multiple shots were fired into the air from a dark-colored sedan, which quickly fled. No injuries or property damage were reported.
Indecent Exposure
On February 22 at 9:43 AM, officers were called to the intersection of Richmond Hwy. and American Eagle Blvd. in Woodbridge for an indecent exposure report. Witnesses say a man exited a dark-colored SUV, walked behind a tree, and exposed himself while making inappropriate gestures. The suspect, described as a Hispanic male, about 30 years old, with a top bun, wearing a dark-colored jacket and jeans, fled before police arrived.
Attempted Residential Burglary
On February 23 at 6:41 PM, officers investigated a reported break-in attempt at a home in the 16900 block of Monmouth Ct. in Dumfries. The investigation revealed that between January 13 and February 23, an unknown suspect attempted to enter through a tampered window. No entry was made, and nothing was reported stolen.
Sexual Assault Investigation â Arrest
On February 20, detectives arrested a 16-year-old male from Haymarket in connection to a sexual assault reported on December 22, 2024. The victim, an adult woman, was hosting a gathering at her home when she became incapacitated and was assaulted. The suspect turned himself in without incident and was charged with rape and aggravated sexual battery. He is being held at the Juvenile Detention Center.
Felony Child Neglect â Arrest
On February 21 at 3:40 PM, officers responded to the Walmart in Dumfries (17041 Richmond Hwy.) after a Good Samaritan reported a 2-year-old child left unattended in a parked vehicle. The childâs mother, Tasha Michelle OSEI-ASIBEY, 38, of Stafford, returned to the vehicle while officers were on scene. She briefly resisted arrest but was detained without further incident. The child was unharmed and placed in the custody of a relative. Osei-Asibey faces charges of felony child neglect and obstruction of justice.

Chatham Heights Road, 2/22, 10:45 PM â A deputy stopped a speeding vehicle and discovered two juvenile occupants in possession of rum. Both juveniles received criminal complaints for unlawful possession of alcohol.

Holy Pipe Tobacco, 2163 Richmond Highway, 2/22, 3:28 AM â Deputies responded to a business alarm and discovered the front glass door shattered. A search of the business found no suspects. The investigation is ongoing.
2149 Richmond Highway, 2/24, 1:23 AM â Deputy K.F. Bierfeldt responded to a glass break alarm at Crystal Smoke and Vape Shop. Upon arrival, she observed the shattered front door and saw a suspect peeking out from inside. The suspect immediately fled into the woods behind the business, but Deputy Bierfeldt gave chase and arrested him shortly after. The suspect, a 16-year-old male, was linked to the February 22nd Holy Pipe Tobacco Shop break-in across the street. Juvenile Intake declined to detain the suspect, and charges for both breaking and entering cases are pending.

Longview Drive, 2/21, 3:05 PM â A caller reported a Corolla driving through their yard. Deputies arrived to find the vehicle abandoned. The female driver was located nearby and admitted to drinking and driving. She showed signs of intoxication and was charged with DUI.
Town and Country Drive, 2/21, 6:43 PM â A male driver was reported as possibly having a medical emergency or being highly intoxicated. Deputies determined the latter was true, as he showed signs of intoxication and admitted to drinking at a local restaurant. He was arrested for DUI.
Paisanoâs, 1515 Stafford Market Place, 2/21, 9:45 PM â Deputies responded to a report of a highly intoxicated individual attempting to drive. The suspect was found in the parking lot with a nearly empty bottle of New Amsterdam vodka. He was charged with DUI with a BAC above .2 and held on a $2,000 secured bond.
300 Block of Warrenton Road, 2/22, 11:25 PM â Two Stafford businesses will have difficulty getting mail after a reckless DUI driver took out their mailboxes during a late-night ride. Deputy N.J. Amato responded to a Chrysler that had left the roadway, striking two mailboxes before crashing into a telephone pole. Witnesses reported the vehicle had been driving recklessly, swerving between lanes before veering off the road. The driver, who was not wearing a seatbelt, was transported to a hospital for potential internal injuries. He later admitted to having “a few shots” at a birthday party, police said. Warrants were obtained for DUI, reckless driving, two counts of destruction of property, and failure to wear a seatbelt.
Between February 21 and February 23, law enforcement responded to nearly 15 DUI-related incidents in Stafford County. Authorities urge drivers to make responsible choices and avoid driving while intoxicated.

Butler Road, 2/22, 10:13 PM â A female was found unconscious on the side of the road with a bottle of alcohol. She complained of a toothache but exhibited signs of intoxication. She was charged with public intoxication and held until sober.
