Virginia Lt. Gov. Winsome Sears will be the headline speaker at the Prince William County Republican Committee’s annual fundraising dinner.
The county GOP will hold the dinner in Woodbridge.

Flagship Carwash will open a new location at 11780 Sudley Manor Drive near Manassas. Employees will host a grand opening event on Saturday, March 4, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., with food trucks from 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.
New members will receive 50% off their first month’s membership fee when they sign up for a new unlimited membership.

The event comes on the heels of the approval for Doves Landing outside Manassas. At 500 acres., the passive recreational area will become the county’s largest park and will serve hikers, kayakers, and birdwatchers.
The Prince William County Department of Parks, Recreation, and Tourism manages more than 4,400 acres of parkland comprised of 81 properties and more than 60 miles of trails.

A familiar face at the Prince William County Government Center will seek a seat on the county school board.
Erica Tredinnick, 36, is seeking the Republican nomination endorsement in the Brentsville District for Prince William County School Board in the 2023 general election. Adele Jackson has held the seat since 2020 and received support from the Democrats.

The Prince William County Government removed an online survey asking employees about their gender identity, sexual orientation, and whether or not they feel valued at work after Supervisor Yesli Vega shared the survey with her constituents.
The 21-question survey (see it here) cost taxpayers $78,000, or about $3,700 per question, and was conducted by DiversityMBA/Learning Solutions, according to an email from Maria Burgos, the county’s equity and inclusion officer.
Burnside Farms will open again this spring for its annual tulip festival.
The 11008 Kettle Run Road farm in Nokesville plants more than 100 varieties of tulips and more than 30 daffodil varieties and allows the public to come and pick them from the ground.
