One man suffered life-threatening injuries after a fire on Montega Drive in Woodbridge.

One person suffered life-threatening burns during house fire today in Woodbridge.

At 11:24 a.m., fire and rescue units were dispatched to the 4000 block of Montega Drive for a report of a house fire with an occupant inside.

Woman stabbed multiple times in Lake Ridge home

A 45-year-old man faces charges after a woman was stabbed multiple times inside of her home.

At  10:06 p.m. Monday, January 31  officers responded to a went to a home in the 12200 block of Allspice Court in Lake Ridge for a report of a domestic disturbance. According to the caller, someone inside the home was armed with a weapon.

Opinion: It’s time to end mask mandates in schools, says Prince William County Supervisor Peter Candland

If we have learned one thing over the last two years of a pandemic, it’s that what is classified as “science” is always changing as we learn more. And that’s okay. I would hope that as a society we would learn from our experiences and continuously balance all potential threats to our children and not just let one aspect of our lives rule over everything else.

But that seems to be exactly what has happened with the continued mask mandates being foisted upon our children in the Prince William County School system.

Former Stafford Democratic Chief Litchfield enters state senate race

Ben Litchfield, a consumer financial services attorney, has thrown his hat to run for state senate in the newly-created 27th District, covering portions of Stafford and Spotsylvania counties and Fredericksburg.

Litchfield and his wife Valerie have lived in Stafford since 2015. Until recently, he served as the Stafford County Democratic Committee Chairman.
