Prince William County Launches Planning Effort for Vint Hill Road Corridor

“Prince William County is launching an exciting new planning effort to help guide thoughtful, sustainable growth along the Vint Hill Road Corridor,” the county’s Planning Office announced. “The Vint Hill Corridor Small Area Plan (SAP) will build on our community’s vision: protecting rural character, strengthening economic opportunity, and preserving what makes this area truly special.”

The Vint Hill Corridor SAP will be developed in collaboration with residents, business owners, and local stakeholders to balance growth, enhance mobility, and support locally rooted businesses while maintaining the area’s rural charm. A community kickoff meeting will take place on November 17.

DUI Arrests and Intoxication Incidents in Stafford County

In Stafford County, a series of DUI arrests occurred over the weekend. The most serious incident involved a traffic stop on Truslow Road and Cambridge Street, where a 23-year-old Stafford man was arrested for driving under the influence and carrying a concealed weapon. A firearm was found in a bag on his lap during the arrest.

Another DUI arrest took place on the 2000 Block of Richmond Highway, where a 23-year-old Woodbridge man was charged after being observed driving erratically. Additionally, a third DUI arrest happened at Royal Farms on Royal Falls Drive, involving a subject found lying on the asphalt at a gas pump.

Quantico announces November 2025 fall flushing schedule to improve water quality

“As part of efforts to improve our water quality, our Utilities team has successfully implemented and conducted a biannual unidirectional flushing program to systematically and comprehensively flush the Main side water distribution system,” Marine Corps Base Quantico announced. “This helps reduce water age and ensure water quality in the Main side system.”

Officials noted that “water mains and fire hydrants are flushed through our systematic uni-directional flushing program,” and residents may experience “temporary water discoloration in the flushed area, which can be resolved by running the tap until the water is clear.”

“Have leaves ready by 7 a.m. on the first day of service in your section and place them at the curb, utility strip, or edge of pavement — the vacuum will not go beyond the right-of-way.”

City officials reminded residents, “Do not include branches, sticks, logs, or other debris, those piles will NOT be collected,” and noted that “our new one-person leaf truck helps make collection faster and more efficient, allowing for quicker passes through neighborhoods.”

Stafford County advances Berea Church Road Improvement Project into Phase 3

“The Berea Church Road Improvement Project is moving into Phase 3,” Stafford County Government announced. “Beginning today, November 3, 2025, Berea Church Road will be fully closed from Berea Knolls Drive and Brimley Drive to Fleet Road.”

County officials added, “The section of road from Truslow Road to Berea Knolls Drive and Brimley Drive that was previously closed is now reopened.”

Public House Kitchen & Brewery joins Manassas Fall Restaurant Week with $20, $27, and $45 menus

“Restaurant Week 2025 – Fall Edition will run November 8–16, 2025,” Historic Manassas, Inc. announced. “Public House Kitchen & Brewery, located at 9406 Battle Street, will feature tiered menus including two shareables for $20, two sandwiches or burgers for $27, and a dinner for two for $45.”

The dinner option includes one starter and two main courses, with choices such as smoked Gouda mac and cheese, vegetable ravioli, and bourbon-glazed salmon. Restaurant Week menus are designed to showcase downtown Manassas dining while encouraging visitors to explore locally owned eateries during the weeklong event.
